Jul 24 - US Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama made a pre-dawn visit to Jerusalem's Western Wall on Thursday (July 24). Obama placed a prayer he had written in the wall and bowed his head while a rabbi read a psalm calling for peace in the holy city. The visit was not without controversy as at least one worshipper chanted "Obama, Jerusalem is not for sale" and "Jerusalem is our land". Obama is due to fly to Germany later on Thursday where he will give the only public speech of his week-long foreign tour at the Victory Column in Berlin's central Tiergarten park. The outdoor address on trans-Atlantic ties is likely to draw tens of thousands.

I noticed late last night that everyone was calling it the Western Wall. It has a much more prevalent name.
The Western Wall is more correct, as it is the WESTERN WALL of the ROMAN FORT ANTONIA, a former dump for garbage and the "menstrual clothes" of Christian women.
