The other way around. Cream broke up because Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker hated each other. Eric Clapton started hanging out out and playing with Stevie Winwood and then Ginger Baker kind of showed up. Then Ric Grech showed up and history was made.

If you've never read it, Clapton's autobiography was pretty interesting.

"Blind Faith" was the first album done by Clapton and Baker following the break-up of Cream.

One of the greatest Rock Albums ever made. Depending upon who you read it is the best - the other that vies for the title is Sgt. Peppers.

Although "Dark Side of The Moon" certainly deserves to be in the hunt.
