KILLING THE BLUES is a fine duet and SISTER ROSETTA GOES BEFORE US is Allison demonstrating her amazing melodic abilities.

But, all of the music is really great. The katz in the band just lay it down with authority, and I really appreciate that and them.

If you have time to listen to them all you'll see that the album is great and it sets a mood, and for me it's worth making time for it.

As far as the vocals, and the tune, her lesbian song is the best one, imo.

Tight, well edited, mixed, and just good.

When Allison is doing her own thing, she could save the expense of a mixer, or editor.
