Sometimes the news story needs to be told by a writer. But, at other times, the view of the guy or gal on the ground in a war zone is the best way to get the first hand report that the media accompanying Sen. Barack Obama is trying to conjure up to convince the world that Obama is "presidential timber" when in fact he is noting more than a stray twig that took root in the wrong place. When Obama hit Germany yesterday, the German media addressed him as "President Obama." The communists of Europe love any communist, even an American one. Obama's "high stakes" debut on the foreign stage would be a joke except it is not funny. What is a joke, and what is funny, is Obama's facade, adriotly concealed by the mainstream media who repeatedly compared Obama to JFK when he visited the Berlin Wall. Obama and the media are doing everything to make Obama appear to be a titan in a world of political giants when he is, in fact, a midget is a Europe of political dwarfs who see themselves as the new titans of the world in search of a puppet to do their bidding. Here is the view of one of those foot soldiers who winning the two wars Obama insists we lost. Listen to his words and form your own opinion. He begins: Subject: Obama's Visit Hello everyone, As you know I am not a very political person. I just wanted to pass along that Senator Obama came to Bagram, Afghanistan for about an hour on his visit to "The War Zone." I wanted to share with you what happened. He got off the plane and got into a bullet proof vehicle, got to the area to meet with the Major General (2 Star) who is the commander here at Bagram. As the Soldiers were lined up to shake his hand he blew them off and didn't say a word as he went into the conference room to meet the General. As he finished, the vehicles took him to the ClamShell (pretty much a big top tent that military personnel can play basketball or work out in with weights) so he could take his publicity pictures playing basketball. He again shunned the opportunity to talk to Soldiers to thank them for their service. So really he was just here to make a showing for the American's back home that he is their candidate for President. I think that if you are going to make an effort to come all the way over here you would thank those that are providing the freedom that they are providing for you. I swear we got more thanks from the NBA Basketball Players or the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders than [from a Senator] who wants to be the President of the United States. I just don't understand how anyone would want him to be our Commander-and-Chief. It was almost that he was scared to be around those that provide the freedom for him and our great country. If this is blunt and to the point I am sorry but I wanted you all to know what kind of caliber of person he really is. What you see in the news is all fake. In service, CPT Jeffrey S. Porter

Obama is an arrogant SOB, we already knew that. According to a Master Sergeant friend of mine who was stationed at Beaufort SC at the time, Bill Clinton behaved in the exact same way during his visits to the base, afraid to dirty his hands by having anything to do with the "grunts."

I didn't truly KNOW how arrogant Obama was several months back. In fact, I knew nothing.. and still we find with each passing day, he is not who people think he is and he is much dumber than we thought. He does not know his history, does not even understand the words that are coming out of his mouth. They throw him on a dolly at night and adjust his little chip daily. And the crowd roars. He is impressed with himself though. So much so, his campaign removed the flag from his campaign plane for an O emblem with UN colors. Self over country.
Is that true? Wow! If McCain weren't the GOP'ers token doomed to fail candidate, he's make a big to-do about that fact. American voters would be quite pissed off about a Pres candidate parading a UN flag on his plane.
