My friend is planning to come from Toronto to Vancouver on the Greyhound soon.

I think it's about a 100+ hour trip.

I'd just hitchhike if I didn't take the plane.

The train can be a very nice way to go.

It's beautiful through the Rockies.

Anyway, he was on the phone to another friend and I hollered;

"Don't fall asleep on the bus!"

He laughed. Loudly but nervously.

I hope the humor doesn't offend anyone.

I think maybe it's good to laugh about these things sometimes. Not at funerals of course.

Better than being afraid I suppose.

It didn't offend me. I was just commenting that that was some cold black humor and you know it is. But can you imagine just sitting there, minding your own business, and some sob just starts stabbing you and then cuts your head off? That is really cold.
