Does this mean he will let them hang 'loose' in their voting, or will he 'lose' them to some other personage? Sure makes a difference to an inquiring mind....

What's sad is when you know the difference and still make the mistake.

The standards for journalism have dropped since anyone can become a reporter.

In a nation where 98% of the media is owned by five corporations, there are no "reporters" any longer, there are only professional PR people and those who mindlessly repeat whatever is presented in those press releases. Journalism is as dead as hoop skirts in the US today.

Gold and silver are REAL money, paper is but a promise.

Yes, I agree.

I was using the terms; 'journalism' and 'reporter' losely loosly loosely to describe blogs/forums and anyone that can post on the internet.

Just what is it about a nocturnal existence of convenience stores, pizza, cigars, booze, and lap dances that I find so appealing?

I dunno, Chrissie. Generally, I just grit my teeth and go on.....figuring perhaps their fingers are typing faster than their brain has engaged. I know on occasion I do goofball things like not spell=checking, or hitting the 'it looks good, lets run with it button' before proofing. Of course, there are others who have spell checkers, but the words lose and loose are both legit-- unless you have some sort of program to differentiate usage. And then, there is the old pubic edicasion system methud of spelin--doesn't matter if it is speled rite sew long as u feel gud abot it. Me-- hell, I can't even use drinking as an excuse.

Having been a secretary for many years, and an office manager who wouldn't let spelling errors leave the office under the 'john henry' of my boss make errors stand out probably moreso than the rank and file.

Christ, I'm still paying for the extended lap dance I got from "Selena" in Pittsburgh at Supercomputing 2004.

I'm gettin' too old for this shit.

There are a lot of "people who can work" who "already have a job" such as The US Postal Service, and they still don't work.

It's one thing to demand "the right to work" and another to demand "the right to a job". Black marches always demand the latter, preferably a govt job that requires little or no exertion (from working) and with complete job security.

It was no accident what Obama said. He didn't say "I will make sure that everyone who can work will be able to work." Because it doesn't pay to promise work to people who only want jobs!

Promise someone a chance to work and you only guarantee them a right to compete with their skills.

Promising someone a job (which is an entitlement) means they get paid even if they hit the foreman in the head with an iron bar (Such as at UAW assembly plants) because they claim that the foreman "called me a nigga!"
