One of the world's best-known Holocaust deniers, David Irving, is bringing his speaking tour to South Florida, one of the most heavily Jewish regions of the country where many Holocaust survivors live. He has scheduled speaking engagements in West Palm Beach on Wednesday and Miami on Thursday. Both events take place in the evening. In a telephone interview, Irving said they're for his "friends," many of whom want him to autograph books he has written. Invitations require registration by e-mail or a phone call to Irving. Appearances by Irving, even in heavily Jewish South Florida, aren't new, said Allen Kohlhepp, who monitors hate activities in 11 Southeastern states for the Anti-Defamation League. Operating from what Irving called his base in Key West, he spends about half of each year in the state. His presence inspires strong feelings. "David Irving is a sham. He's an academic sham. He's an intellectual sham," said Bill Gralnick, Southeast regional director of the American Jewish Committee. The notion that some are interested in hearing what Irving has to say "says something about the virus-like quality of anti-Semitism that just doesn't go away." Alan L. Berger, chairman of Holocaust studies at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, said, "Not only is he a shoddy historian, but he's a Nazi sympathizer.... I find it appalling and pathetic that Irving is having an audience, people that are interesting in hearing him. "Denial of the Holocaust is continuation of the Holocaust," he said. "The victims were murdered by the Nazis and the helpers. Now that their memories are being sullied and denied, this is a second kind of spiritual genocide." Still, Gralnick said, he would be more concerned if Irving had a stronger following. "If it turned out that 2,000 people showed up to hear David Irving, I would be concerned and agitated. I don't think that will be the case," he said. Although Berger, Kohlhepp and Gralnick all consider him a Holocaust denier, Irving said that's not true. "I've got no feelings at all about the Holocaust. I find the whole subject boring," he said. "Like most of the human race, when it comes on television, I turn the channel." Irving's Web site includes answers to what he said was a series of questions from a sixth-grader, including whether the Holocaust should be taught in school. His response was, "Schools should concentrate on real history, and not play any part in the Holocaust industry. Children's brains are too important to be polluted and fouled by racial-hatred, which is just what the Holocaust stories are doing."

He's an intellectual sham," said Bill Gralnick, Southeast regional director of the American Jewish Committee" Attack and smear the individual they perceive as the opposition, a threat to the collective. Note the newspaper willingly prints this smear even though it is an outright lie. Whatever attack or smear issued is faithfully printed, while Irving is not allowed to refute the allegations. I found the paragraph about the ADL, an aggressive and predatory group, monitoring Irving, an individual merely exercising his rights, to be troubling. The writer acts as though groups monitoring individuals for exercising their God given rights is completely ethical. It's not. Note also how the article implies that Irving is unethical, without any proof. And how holocaust denial, an implied crime, is more of an offense because Irving is speaking in an area of Fla where alot of Jews live. This implies that because a group of Jews is in the area, Irving exercising his rights is more heinous. This is promoting the idea of Jewish group power. Power over individuals who they deem a threat. This is the typical Jewish routine- criminalize thru implication the actions of an American merely exercising his rights. Use group power ceded to them in our now collectivist system to attack the individual. Stifle dissent. Control Americans for their benefit. The individual is under serious assault by the Jews in the US- thru their media. The more power the Jews get over individuals in the majority, the more they will use that power abusively against individuals.

OVER THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND the Tampa Unit of National Vanguard hosted a speaking engagement for the famed British historian David Irving (pictured, speaking at the event). The meeting was held at a fine hotel in the Tampa, Florida area.
Attendees were greeted by National Vanguard members at the door and enjoyed complimentary soda, snacks, and coffee as they filled the room before the meeting, discussing both history and current events. Tables were set up to sell books and music and to distribute multimedia CDs. We also set up a computer to display the videos the Tampa Unit has been producing, which seemed to impress everyone favorably.
After a brief introduction by National Vanguard member Bobby Ammon, David Irving took the podium and impressed everyone with his distinctively British wit.
Mr. Irving spoke to the audience about several instances in which documents that the establishment's historians relied on when they wrote lurid yarns about WWII turned out to be fakes. He also spoke of the trouble he had had when he wrote one of his most famous books -- Hitler's War. The publisher was disturbed because Mr. Irving had written a book about that subject without including 'Holocaust' propaganda (the idea that Jews had monumental and unique losses during that war, a tale which many historians now doubt).
Mr. Irving told the publisher that he had spent 15 years researching his book, that it was based entirely on provable facts supported by verifiable documents and witnesses -- and that "therefore there isn't a 'Holocaust' section." The publisher was terrified, and told Mr. Irving that all of the major publishing houses in the U.S. are Jewish and without the inclusion of 'Holocaust' propaganda they would attempt to suppress his book. Mr. Irving stood by his conscience and refused to include unverifiable events in his book -- an act of courage which has placed him high on the Jews' to-be-censored list.

David Irving is certainly among the most tireless and dedicated historical researchers in the world. His skill and passion -- and refusal to lie -- have earned him many enemies, but have also earned him many friends. We hope he will continue to make his annual visits to Tampa.
