Dogs that come out of puppy mills are usually physical and emotional wrecks. This pug showed every puppy mill survivior trait -- terror of human hands, won't play or make eye contract, etc.

The new owner really turned this dog around.

I had a three-and-one-half-year-old pug until he became terminally ill and I had to put him to sleep.

Now I'll just get a rescue pug. They all need homes. I'd like to get about four, actually.
