Since... a few days ago, I can't get the 'latest comments' showing on my screen. I do see everything else - the right side section showing the latest articles, the top menu but no content for the 'latest comments'. I do get content when, for example I do 'check pings' - see all replies addressed to me with the exact layout that 'latest comments' should display.

Is anyone else experiencing this? I am running the latest Firefox and I have the graphics turned off. I didn't change anything in my 4um setup in years.

As soon as I posted this, I got the latest comments. It did take a couple of minutes for them to appear but... they did!!! They did!!!

It's got something to do with the content filters.

I picked a thread and used the ignore thread function. Then I went to setup - content filters and unignored the thread.

It was fine after that. Some people had luck by clearing their bozo filter.

Clearing bozo's did the trick here - it loads like watching television.

My belief in the goodness of mankind has been dashed, crushed, destroyed, mutilated, oh the horror of it all.I keep all kinds of lists on people, but no bozos.

I read yestiddy that hottest summer in 90 years or some such in Austin, maybe that has affected you?

We are TOAST here.

Curiously, all the bozoed seem to have left the 4um for more fertile trolling elsewhere.

Here in the hills we have had one of the coolest summers on record.

At the moment we are way up to 63 degrees and no humidity which is unheard of in august. Some days it has been mid afternoon before the temp struggles above 70.

I recall long years ago those hot days of Texas. The only thing I liked about Texas was the girls. They still have them nowadays???

Course at your age, you prolly not notice such?

Temps here in Ft. Wayne have been waaaaay below the norm this year. My electric bill was less than my water bill in July. Some of that can be attributed to conservation mods I've made to the ye olde abode, but I'd estimate 80% of it is weather.
