Two part interview Arabic Media - Al Jazeera - Riz Khan.

For the past 30 years, Captain Paul Watson has been engaging in war on the high seas. His war has nothing to do with empire-building or economics, but with what he sees as his mission to protect whales from their hunters. The captain co-founded Greenpeace in 1971, only to be expelled from the group because he refused to renounce violence as a method to confront whaling. Thirty years ago he formed the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, and began his battles with mostly Japanese whale hunters.

His ship has been rammed as he makes anti-whaling declarations over loudspeakers, and he has allegedly been shot at. But nothing is slowing him down, and Riz will ask him about his life's work on Monday.

Thank you Captain Watson. Too bad this sort of coverage gets blacked out of the U.S. Corporate media.

A few months ago, the BBC placed a reporter on an antiwhaling ship that was chasing Japanese whalers in the Southern Indian Ocean.

These AJ guys are good; some of the early video of the Georgian War had AJ stamps on it.

Agree with their philosophy or not, they do go out and get great vid.
