Pious Perverts See other Pious Perverts Articles Title: Family Research Council is a fraud I emailed the Family Research Council to ask them why Chuck Baldwin was not invited to the forum they hosted recently. Mr. XXX XXXXX E-Mail: xxxxxxxx Subject: Values Voters Summit Date: August 08, 2008 I would like to know why you are inviting John McCain and Barak Obama, both known pro abortionists to your Values Voters Summit, and not inviting Chuck Baldwin, who is a staunch Pro-Lifer and a Baptist pastor, to your summit. I understand you want to hear opinions that are not your own, but why would you exclude someone who is on your side? It doesn't make sense. I got this email in reply: Dear XXX, Thank you for contacting FRC regarding the candidacy of Chuck Baldwin. We appreciate the time you have taken to share your thoughts with us and are happy to address your concerns. Due to our limited staff and resources, we have focused our reporting on candidates that consistently register in national polling; this has been our policy from the earliest days of the primaries. While Dr. Baldwin has our best wishes for success and we welcome the role that third party candidates play in our political process, at the end of the day we will have to work with whoever sits in the White House next January. At this time, we are seeking to influence those candidates most likely to occupy that office. While Dr. Baldwin has not been invited to speak at the Values Voter Summit, we would encourage you to review our list of confirmed speakers at www.valuesvotersummit.org for any changes. XXX, as you know, FRC is focused on values issues-such as marriage, abortion, and stem cell research-and our stance is well-known throughout Washington, D.C. We are also a nonpartisan organization that communicates these deeply-held values to all political actors-regardless of party. We are holding the Values Voter Summit from a position of confidence that FRC's pro-life and pro-family work of 25 years has been done with both integrity and success. We will never be persuaded to change those views, but we believe that we can change the views of those who disagree with us through engagement and action-and that we must try. Finally, we would encourage you to download our Presidential Voter Guide, available on FRC Action's website at: www.frcaction.org. This guide lays out the policy positions of Sen. McCain and Sen. Obama in great detail, and will provide you with a thorough analysis of how they stand on the issues impacting the family. Thank you for taking the time to write, and for standing with us in defense of faith, family and freedom. Please do not hesitate to contact us again if we can be of further assistance, and may God bless you and your family. Sincerely, XXXXXXXX FRC Correspondence Typical pragmatic cowardice. Or is it malevolence? Sooner or later, the question must be asked: is the FRC ignorant? Or is it serving a political end we don't know about?

Response #3 - very nice. Pathetic. Thank you for trying.
Why is the response pathetic?

I meant, what seemed to me, to be a totally pre-written, form letter that was sent to you. If it answered your questions, I withdraw my comment.
