After Barockstar’s near fatal empty suit performance at Saddleback Saturday, the Obama spin machine is in damage control overdrive. I wonder if they‘ve had time to realize that they have been triangulated by the Clinton war room and set up to take a fall at the DNC convention?

That old Clinton war room stench is in the air again...It seems the empty suit and his empty headed staff is not quite up to speed on Clintonian strategeries. Consider the Latest Clinton maneuvers

Ä2; Camp Clinton convinced Camp Obama to help liquidate her campaign debts.

Ä2; Camp Clinton convinced Camp Obama to call for Florida and Michigan voters to be counted. It’s the right thing to do, of course. But had it already been done, Hillary would already be the nominee.

Ä2; Camp Clinton convinces Camp Obama to agree to a floor vote at the convention when all the cameras will be rolling. What if Clinton wins on the floor?

Ä2; Camp Clinton removes Obama supporter John Edwards from the equation, along with his scheduled convention speaking spot, on the basis that he is now a known lying cheater. But Bill Clinton (also a known lying cheater) is the headliner of the convention, and he’s not an Obama supporter at all.

Ä2; Barockstar tanks on national TV only days before the convention and his campaign staff is sent out to do damage control, leaving the super-delegates gasping in a holy crap moment, with the sudden realization that this empty suit is in no way ready for the big show. Only a promise to make a VP announcement this week can get his failed TV appearance off the front pages.

Ä2; Meanwhile, Camp Clinton is mobilizing millions of NObama minions and staging a convention coup in which Hillary can ride in on silver steed to save the party from complete implosion on an international stage…

Even James Carville, Dick Morris and Oliver Stone combined, could not have written this script any better. All we need is a second gunman on the grassy knoll. Howard Dean maybe?

The fact that millions of Democrat voters were intentionally disenfranchised by their own party in the primaries leaves the chosen one the prime target of too many in-house enemies. And nobody in American politics is better at organizing, mobilizing and exploiting in-house enemies than the Clintons.

Poster Comment:

I found this opinion piece rather amusing as well as possibly prophetic. There's nothing quite like rumors of a coup to get the juices running and spice up an otherwise boring business as usual election year.

Obama believes his main political rival is McCain. Obama is wrong.

I certainly didn't put all these pieces together, though I did get the standing hairs on the arm routine when it was said that her name would be put in nomination.

I haven't thought for a minute that she was done, though. She doesn't have the year tucked under her belt to be the 'sage' of the democraps, and it would take too long to do things necessary or important enough to garner her sufficient accolades--after all, a Kennedy she ain't! I don't think she feels she has that much time left in which to make her mark as the first woman president.

Lets see what else hits the fan before the convention is over.

Should Obama choose Clinton? Posted: 07:15 PM ET

From CNN Senior Political Analyst Bill Schneider

A new poll suggests Obama’s numbers would go up if he chooses Clinton as his VP. DENVER (CNN) - What can Barack Obama do to reverse his sudden slide in the polls? Here’s an idea: surprise everyone and name Hillary Clinton as his running mate.

It would turn the Democratic National Convention into a love-in. 4,438 delegates locking arms and singing "Kum-Ba-Ya’’!

Consider this finding from the new Wall Street Journal-NBC News poll out Wednesday night. A bare majority of Clinton supporters, 52 percent say they will vote for Obama. Twenty one percent favor McCain, while 27 percent are still undecided or say they will vote for "someone else.’’

Nearly half of Clinton’s supporters are still not on board with Obama!

The holdouts tend to like McCain more than Obama and have more confidence in McCain’s ability to be commander-in-chief.

Would Clinton add to the ticket? Apparently. The poll shows Obama leading McCain by three points. If Clinton were at the top of the ticket, she would be leading McCain by six.

Should Obama choose Clinton?

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer, so I've heard. Obama is losing ground against McCain of ALL people. This should be a runaway landslide for Dems, any Dem, but it's supposedly 'close'. As far as the show we see anyway. The PUMA'S (Party Unity My Ass) are a problem for the party. Not just for Obama. They are screwing up the show. I believe the hooved one has successfully used them now to get her name put into nomination, and a speaking part for Winthrop the closet racist and international joke. That's power. We now suddenly have two superdelegates that have expired. We have seen a few candidate planes that have had in-flight malfunctions. In fact, Winthrop was stuck in Africa for a few extra days because of such issues as well.

SHOULD obama choose Clinton? For all the reasons above yes is equal to no. If the d's lose against the r's, with their record, the party will dintegrate. The 'system' is fixed, and in shambles as a result. We really are only spectators anyway.

In the end, one or the other will claim they won a mandate and start more stupid crap. The d team is looking to find someone to make his win against McCain believable and acceptable to hold the party together 4 more years to finish us up to 2012, and from there, you know, the planet blows up or something. Floating Caroline as a VP, could be the answer in many ways, but if 25% of the PUMA'S hold the line, McCain probably wins.

Obama is not a mile ahead of McInsane yet because he's a darkie. Clinton won't help him overcome his darkiness.

It would be interesting to see what happens if McSenile picks Lieberwurst for VP so that the fearless voters would have to pick between a Nigga and a Hymie. That would be FUN! If McStupid does not pick a Jew, Obama will still beat him but it won't be as much fun.

Then how'd he beat her?

LOL! Yeah, it's all about race. Heard that somewhere before too. Maybe he just sucks.

It's not ALL about race but his darkiness does account for a couple of percentage points taken from him and added to lily-white McMelanoma.

Obama beat Hilly because he's THAT good. Not even the blue contacts and the subtle peroxide highlights could lift her to the top.

Well then, the poking whitey is not a good strategy. Again, sucky thinking. Besides, his adivsor Zbig is jonesing for a war with Russia. Now that's going to suck it big time. And guess what? We're all invited to the BBQ.

Obama isn't that good at anything I've seen. No evidence offered yet to change my mind.

Hillary always thought it was hers, and so did everyone else. She's a shrew and that's a nice word. No one likes her personality, which is yet another reason Obama's success over Hillary doesn't really mean jack.

Now, I have this question. Just ordered this TRENDnet Wireless Advanced Pan/Tilt Internet Camera Server TV-IP400W (Version B1.xR) from Amazon. You're supposed to be able to get live video and remote control it from the Net but my question is this - if the camera sits behind my router, then how do I initiate a session with it while I'm away?

Is anyone an expert in these things? If it doesn't work I return it, but I'm curious if it's going to work.

Why didn't you ask the salesperson?

The AMAZON sales person? Are you kidding?

If it doesn't work I send it back but maybe someone understands this stuff better than I do. Like the camera talks to the wireless router which assigns it some fake IP address, right? Then the router itself grabs an address from the ISP. How do I get to talk to the camera from over the net? Does it get a DNS name of its own? I'm just curious to understand how do I initiate a conversation with it. My suspicion is that, somehow, you need to get the camera registered with an external DNS.
