DEVELOPING …

John McCain’s Denver campaign office received an envelope containing white powder and a threatening note Thursday afternoon.

Spokesman Jeff Sadosky told FOX News the office has been evacuated and the campaign notified federal and local law enforcement, who are taking all precautions.

The letter was opened at about 5 p.m. ET.

Go ahead....make fun....the guy jumps into the lead and whammy!, here comes the weapons grade anthrax-laced letter. Political assassination is nothing to laugh at. I should know. I hope Prof. Bentley at the Collective has a suitable alibi. He's #1 on my list (except most Yale grads can't tie their shoes, never mind find a mail box)

Back in 2002-3, during the Antrax scares, we had our entire office building evacuated over spilled Splenda. The funny thing was that everyone knew that it was Splenda but such is today's fear of 'liabilities'.

Thank providence I worked in a small enough office to avoid such shenanigans, closest we came was evacuating the building because we all smelled gas. Sure, we knew there was no gas hookup to the building, and that the natural gas processing plant up the road had a history of spilling stinkem juice they added to their product for public safety, but we just had to have an extra smoke break that day, eh?
