Whatever the reason, Americans have been indoctranated and dumbed down until they have little actual knowledge and are incapable of logical thinking.

Condi knows that, Cheney knows that, the neoconservatives know that, and even George Dumbya knows it. You can say that Russia's response was out of proportion to the provocation (though you have to wonder how the US would respond to Cubans firing on US troops in Guantanamo Bay), but only ignorance or lying can make Russia the instigator. Of course, ignorance and lies are standard operating procedure for Fox News and the rest of the anti-Russian hysterics.
