Well he's certainly no Alan Dershowitz, and this would make for a good drinking game.

However, seeing as how many of the verbally polished say either nothing or nonsense, I won't hold this against him.

They say they are for "diversity". What they really are for is slavery.

Yes, but what is sad is that his supporters talk about how brilliant and what a great speaker he is. And if they really believe that they have never heard him when he didn't have a prepared script and a teleprompter because in that situation he appears to be pretty close to hopeless.

LOL! That diaper with the word CHANGE on it was a nice touch. I bet if you gave him enough Ex Lax to clean him out he would fit in a matchbox--a small matchbox.

Lodwick, it is really worse than that counter in that little clip indicated. Somewhere there is a transcript of him saying um and uh for close to eight minutes if I remember right. Guy's a freakin' moron.

They should do a counter of McKook using the 'my friends' phrase.

Not sure I can agree with your assurtion.

The current dumbass-in-chief comes off like a drunken version of Forrest Gump (without the wisdom) every time he speaks - even with a script and teleprompter.

I doubt that this criticism will make any real difference.

Yeah, they should. Him calling everyone he talks to "my friend" proves he is a phony. No one has that many friends.

And I should care whether you agree with my assertion? The proof is in the transcripts and the videos where he doesn't have a prepared script and a teleprompter.

And yes, Bush does come across as very stupid but no more than Obama does. They are like the twins, Tweedledumb and Tweedledumber. With these versions of the twins the only way to tell them apart is their color.

The transcript is made up, and the tape is an edited version compiling all his uh's into one 8 minute piece from a variety of speeches.

It's a joke.

But, his uh's do add up.

The uh's and um's are from ONE speech in Amman, Jordan, according to the guy who posted it. I don't know because I wasn't there but I have seen some transcripts and have seen some videos which were supposed to be live where he did a lot of stammering and stuttering. At any rate, the guy who posted it said that it was from that one speech and that of the total speech over seven minutes of it was uh's and um's. Doesn't make Obama look all that bright.

Edit: When I posted this I was thinking of a different video I saw earlier today. It has the uh's and um's from the speech he made in Jordan, not this one on this thread.

Say from a one hour speech, that's not much.

Perhaps, but IMO strains credulity and I have no idea who the guy who posted it is. And I heard a similar excerpt on a talk show and they were clear that it was a compilation.

Doesn't pass the smell test. Unless you got unedited video to prove it's veracity, I say it's BS.

And isn't it absolutely ludicrous to badmouth Obie for his speaking skills when we've had the loquacious and eloquent Dubya spouting inspirational and poetic paeans.

I don't much care whether you believe it or not and if you choose to believe Obama is brighter than the sun that is your business. I don't happen to believe he is but then I never thought Hillary was the "smartest woman in the world" either like some people seem to.

Yeah, but from a effin' 41 MINUTE speech that is just about 20%! It wasn't a "one hour speech" and seven minutes of uh's and um's in 41 minutes is a lot.

I am terrible public speaker myself. But even I wouldn't say that many uh's and um's in a speech. It is a clear sign not of nervousness on his part, becasue he speaks everyday to groups, but to just not really knowing the subject matter very well. With me it is mostly all nervousness.

Oh yeah it is. Compare an Obama speech to a JFK speech and see how many uh's and um's JFK says in TWO hours compared to Obama in 1 minute. Obama would still win by a landslide. I doubt JFK would even say one.

We all make the occasional "uhm" when talking. With BHO, the biggest problem isn't the delivery, it's the content. Or, rather, the complete LACK of content.

Early on the the primaries, I had him pinned as the Democrat's Fred Thompson - somebody who goes around saying things at pep rallies that make people feel good but don't really mean anything.

Obama doesn't hold a candle to Ted Kennedy...there is a radio show in the Boston area that regularly challenges listeners to count the number of uh's that Kennedy spews during a press conference or speech. It's not easy, folks...

The host calls the segment "Wizard of Uh's"...
