This is how weird it gets. It looks like my fave, Condi, won't be in it. In other breaking news, Gov. Polenta seems to be out. He said he'll be elsewhere when McCain makes the announcement.

LOL! Her husband is a commercial fisherman, and she is a hunter. Her face is EVERYWHERE on all the cable channels right now...I'd be shocked if McCain has the b**** to pick her.
She's way to pretty for McCain. The 2 together... it would make him look like an animated corpse.
True...she won a beauty contest in her younger days. However...Drudge has a 'McCain/Palin' button posted on his website...
I don't think we'll be seeing the 2 together often. She's really highlighting McCain's age. Not to mention the 'ready to take over if McCain dies' thingy. I never heard of her but the McCains were emphasizing his being seasoned and experienced. Picking a young, largely unknown mate... not consistent with their theme so far.
Hoping for Palin, but betting on the LIEberman.
I can't see how either of them could possibly help McCain. Lieberman is an out of the closet Jew so he subtracts from Obama's blackness disadvantage. Palin is WAY to young and pretty. She highlights McCain's age and she contradicts McCain's criticism of Obama of being inexperienced and unfit for the job.
The 'experience' factor is so much hookum - how much did smirk, bentmember, Reagan, or anyone else really have before their presidency? The controllers have all the experience that's needed for our next sock-puppet.
I am not debating whether 'experience' matters or not. What I am saying is that the McCain campaign has been emphasizing his being seasoned and experienced so picking a VP that's not would hurt the consistency of their message.
If McKook picks Palin, I will vote for them in the hope that Juan's head will explode in the first crisis that comes along.
Obama made a mistake picking first. He should have waited for McCain to show his hand and, after McCain announced Palin, he could have picked Paris Hilton or a Dixie Chick. Paris is very good on energy and the Chicks have super foreign policy experience. What does Palin have again?
