Let's hear from the prognosticators.
The 'nothing ever changes, they're all the same' very intelligent commentary is also welcome and proper on this thread.
LOL! Her husband is a commercial fisherman, and she is a hunter. Her face is EVERYWHERE on all the cable channels right now...I'd be shocked if McCain has the b**** to pick her.
I don't think we'll be seeing the 2 together often. She's really highlighting McCain's age. Not to mention the 'ready to take over if McCain dies' thingy. I never heard of her but the McCains were emphasizing his being seasoned and experienced. Picking a young, largely unknown mate... not consistent with their theme so far.
I can't see how either of them could possibly help McCain.
Lieberman is an out of the closet Jew so he subtracts from Obama's blackness disadvantage.
Palin is WAY to young and pretty. She highlights McCain's age and she contradicts McCain's criticism of Obama of being inexperienced and unfit for the job.
I am not debating whether 'experience' matters or not. What I am saying is that the McCain campaign has been emphasizing his being seasoned and experienced so picking a VP that's not would hurt the consistency of their message.
Judging by the name, Palin's hubby seems to be Russian. In fact, in Russian, Palin translates as 'friend (pal) of Putin'. I can't see how this could help McCain.
It can't help. It hurts. If it is her, nobody knows her which would make it appear to anyone sane that he searched out a skirt to 'balance' out his ticket in terms of age and gender. This four year dance becomes more absurd with each passing year. Book those txs to New Zealand. I'm guessing you're young enough to give it a go elsewhere.
