If you really want to know the details, I didn't exactly 'watch' this. I was on the toilet but the TV was on. I am watching now because I'm still on a break before I go back to my study.

And your point is what exactly???? that Palin is respectful of Alaska's constitution and does not honor unconstitutional legislation?

After reading her bio, I don't think McKook could have made a better selection. She is beautiful, smart, talented, honest, a Christian, and someone who would restore some honor to the office of v.p. Lord knows it needs it.
But lodwick, doesn't all that make you wonder why she would agree to be John McCain's running mate? I mean, unless she believes he is going to die the day after the election, in which case she becomes president. They can't have much in common (assuming that all that stuff about her is true).
Remember that Reagan despised GHWB, but 'they' told him to select him for his veep. And then tried to cap Ron shortly thereafter. I cannot figger out who told McKook to select SP, or why. I'm going to vote for her. At this stage of the game, what could it hurt?
what it hurts is that your vote is an endorsement of a corrupt, fraudulent system. where's your the fact that Sara Palin is good looking doesn't alter the fact that she's a pro-war republican for starters.
Give us some info on the pro-war stuff - I've not seen anything about that. If she is pro-RP, how could she be pro-war? Freedom, PEACE, and Prosperity was the heart and soul of RP's campaign, and appeal.

Who here would not run in the hope of making things better? You may not be in love with the guy that invited you to the prom, but that doesn't mean that you can't go, and have a super time once there.
You don't have to set aside your principles, loddy, to go to the prom--whether the guy/gal is cute/ugly or can dance/not dance. TO run as second fiddler with a guy that is as pro war/killing as you can get, believes every illegal alien has a right to be in this country at the local taxpayers' expense, yada yada, would mean that she has to l) agree with him OR 2) be a hypocrit by setting aside what she really believes in. We don't need anymore hypocrits running the shop, either. :( If she was so enamoured of ROn Paul and his positions, it would appear that #2 above is just as viable as #1......and I, for one, wouldn't consider voting for the person. Period. There have to be some values/principles which cannot be set aside, IMO, cause if you don't stand for some thing, you will stand for anything.

As I've said several times, the only reason that I'm voting R, is in the greatest hope that Juan goes to 'his reward,' really, really soon. It may, or may not be a long-shot bet, but that's all that I know to do. Bottom line - the black boxes will give us our next regime.
