The introduction is about to begin.
Let's hear first impressions from everyone as this is happening.
Well... McCain just finished talking. Anyone? Anyone?
McCain presented her qualifications as follows:
- she's got executive experience - she's got kids - she is or was a union member and so is her hubby - she's exactly what she needs - she's exactly what the country needs
If you really want to know the details, I didn't exactly 'watch' this. I was on the toilet but the TV was on. I am watching now because I'm still on a break before I go back to my study.
She's a better looking woman than most contemporary Hollywood Celebs.
How long until I see someone on Boston TV slyly hinting that's she's too pretty, using the old sexist argument about the incompatability of beauty and brains......and that someone on TV will be prolly be a woman from the Boston area!
She seems like a 'real' person who has succeeded at everything she's attempted and who has earned everything by her own abilities, personality, and skills.
I'll be cutting up the McCain/Palin signs and reversing the order so no one is confused about who I'm really voting for.
She's a better looking woman than most contemporary Hollywood Celebs
She's quite hot compared to Hillary Klinton and all the wives of the other p/vp candidates. She's gun-totin' feminine and a NORMAL conservative White mother of five. Our only hope is that McCain's heart seizes some time like next February and Palin, the only remaining "wild card," can step up to the plate and focus on "majority rule."
Gov. Sarah Palin Was Second Choice in '84 Beauty Contest Friday August 29, 2008
Sarah Palin, runner-up, Miss Alaska, 1984:
..."Governor Palin is a tough executive who has demonstrated during her time in office that she is ready to be president," the McCain campaign said in a statement Friday. "Governor Palin has the record of reform and bipartisanship that others can only speak of. Her experience in shaking up the status quo is exactly what is needed in Washington today."
