The introduction is about to begin.
Let's hear first impressions from everyone as this is happening.
scrapper.......try 'splaining that to all the rapt 'ears' of the sheeple == within 8 seconds, of course. Aint' gonna happen. Its a part of his CV that he was such and such, and beyond that, the eyes would glaze over. To them, it would show he has experience.
Now, if you could disprove that he was editor or president of anything, that might change the picture--but again, you only have 8 seconds to convince people.
can you imagine if months ago Paul had unveiled her as his VP? talk about a winner!
Yes. And if Ron won the nomination I could have had someone to vote for. As it is I don't have anyone to vote for. I think this is the first presidential election since I have been eligible that I am even debating about even going to the polls at all. And if I do go it won't be to vote for president because if I heard correctly the Constitution Party didn't make it on the ballot here. Maybe I can vote for someone running for the House or something but I am not sure at this point if I will even bother.

It does seem like it. But I don't believe that any REAL Ron Paul supporter would ever vote for Obama (or McCain either for that matter). He is too much a polar opposite from them.

She has publicly complained about fellow Republicans' unethical behavior and references Alaska's Constitution whenever she speaks. Considered a maverick in the GOP, she goes around saying things like: "Fiscally speaking, the private sector can do a better job than government can do." and "Also just trusting individuals to make wise decisions for themselves and families. I have a lot of trust in individuals. I don't trust government nearly as much." She recently signed a bill making it a crime for public servants not to report bribery they know about.
from your link.
That of course will not be enough to sway me to vote for either of the two parties. My vote has already been cast earlier this year. However, it will be the first time in awhile where the VP (who as we all know is a "heartbeat" away from the presidency) was preferable to the president. That's something fwiw.
She is "cute." In fact she is very pretty. But that doesn't mean I am going to vote for her because to vote for her would mean I would have to vote for that thing on the top of the ticket. And that ain't gonna happen.
One's a party animal in the mold of Joe Biden, John Kerry and Ted Kennedy, the other is old school, genuine, and principled. Obama didn't "slip through," he was groomed for it by the old party hacks.
i agree with you (again) with one caveat. obama was picked and groomed by hire ups than the old party hacks.
Thanks. Nice clip but I would like to know where she stands on issues like the damnable Patriot Act and the Military Commissions Act just to name a couple of police state measures that McCain supports wholeheartedly. If I could ask her two or three questions I would know if she actually believes in that oath they are all required to take. I know McCain doesn't, Bush doesn't and Obama doesn't.

If he wanted to have a chance a winning he would have picked Romney who has governor experience, business experience, international experience, all greater than Paulin's by orders of magnitude and he is as conservative, pro-Zio and imperialistic as she is or even more so. His staff surely knows this.
Romney was too slick a hairdo. He lost the GOP Pres candidacy to McCain because of his image and also his Mormon religion was not too popular with the evangelicals and the IsraelFirster zionists. It did not matter that Romney slavishly pled his loyalty to Izzy, the Usual Suspects feared he was an anti-semite deep down in his Mormon heart.

Looking at this mess on a strictly backroom political affair....
What if McKooK says, if elected he will ask Hillary to accept a high level post in his cabinet???????
Mind you, not offer, but would ASK after the election, no commitment from himself or Hillary prior. For dirty politics that would put a slug on Congo Obummer and BS Biden.

We should give it a break.
SP will be interviewed and grilled on all the questions that we've raised here.
I hope that she measures up to the very highest of our hopes.
You don't have to set aside your principles, loddy, to go to the prom--whether the guy/gal is cute/ugly or can dance/not dance. TO run as second fiddler with a guy that is as pro war/killing as you can get, believes every illegal alien has a right to be in this country at the local taxpayers' expense, yada yada, would mean that she has to l) agree with him OR 2) be a hypocrit by setting aside what she really believes in.
We don't need anymore hypocrits running the shop, either. :(
If she was so enamoured of ROn Paul and his positions, it would appear that #2 above is just as viable as #1......and I, for one, wouldn't consider voting for the person. Period.
There have to be some values/principles which cannot be set aside, IMO, cause if you don't stand for some thing, you will stand for anything.
This is now down to bare knuckles politicking as BOTH losers want to be President. Neither is in it to lose. McKooK is behind the black 8 ball so to speak, so what does he have to lose??? Nothing.
If he does not derail obummers train now there is no tomorrow for him.
The men in the backroom could care less which one is the "winner". They already own both horses.

It sure didn't take much to win some people over to the McCain team. All it took was a decent looking woman. If that's all it takes to get votes from "independents" for a PNAC puppet, we're all doomed.
my sentiments exactly
this thread is cracking me up!! part of it is the fact that it's very comical whenever anyone says 'we're all DOOMED!' or 'amurika is DOOMED!' LOL!
case in point:
MY REPLY TO ZEITGEIST: 1John Chapter 2: "21 I write to you not because you do not know the truth but because you do, and because every lie is alien to the truth. 22 Who is the liar? that's an interesting hypothesis. i think whatever mcCain would gain with dems, he'd lose with repubs.

I can honestly say that I am immune to her allure. ;-)

You wanna talk about "a leg up" take a gander at Poppy and the Admiral's sons. Without the accident of birth neither would have made it up to middle management at Dunkin Doughnuts.
Funny how none this kind of BS ever catches the attention of riding mower plutocrats.
Hey Junior and McCain have never hidden their family connections.
But your hero, Barrack Hussein Obama, is a different story all together.
He pretends he's a law professor genius who rose to the top - Columbia undergraduate degree ( snort - say Occidental anyone?) and Harvard Law Review ( say black minority quota anyone?) and Harvard Law School ( not in the top ten graduating class of Columbia - say AA anyone?) and got tenure at U of Chicago ( though none of the faculty there can recall ever being asked to vote on giving Barry tenure, he just "got it" - magically! tee hee) and Barrack refuses to allow his college transcripts to be released - golly gee one wonders why - and Barrack never does a photo opp with his WHITE maternal grandma who happens to have been a VP banker in Hawaii and who paid for Barry's prep school education there.
So McCain and Junior are unafraid to be linked to their families' connections but what gives about your hero and his false image? I guess you like dissembling empty suits - that must be it. Either that or you are a knee jerk Dem voter under all that pseudo Ron Paul rahrah and you are willing to over look even the most glaring flaws in a candidate who has a D after his name. March on.

You got me, dee. To expose Barrack Hussein Obama for the Affirmative Action empty head, empty suit he is would take me 80 seconds not 8 seconds. And his diehard fans like vast and iconoclast would cover their ears anyways so why bother.
swarthyguy: Palin was the head of the school Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
angle: That seals the deal.
Oh my, aren't we testy today...
Let's see...on the one hand is Barrack HUSSEIN Obama, raised as a Muslim in his formative years, who jumps onto Christianity when he's older out of convenience - in his own words in his biography, see Barry was thinking like a politician even when he was a teen - because he would be viewed as a "black American" if he was a member of a Christian church.
And on the other hand we have Sarah Palin who has always been Christian and who takes her faith seriously not just as political asset/deficit like ahem Barry...
Who to choose who to choose? America is merely 75% Christian by faith and 2% Muslim by faith...who best reflects America? Why of course according to angle , it's thumbs up for Barrack HUSSEIN Obama. Ha!
