Sarah Palin, Republican Vice-Presidential Nominee, Plugs Romney, Paul — But Not McCain — In MTV Interview Published by MTV News on Friday, August 29, 2008 at 1:58 pm.

Back in February, on Super Tuesday, MTV News Street Teamer Dani Carlson did a Flixwagon interview with Alaska Governor — and now presumptive Republican vice-presidential candidate — Sarah Palin, who had some interesting things to say about energy policy and the “party machinery.”

In this interview, Palin calls controversial Republican presidential hopeful Ron Paul “cool.” “He’s a good guy,” she added. “He’s so independent. He’s independent of the party machine. I’m like, ‘Right on, so am I.’ ”

So what's she doing getting chummy and on a ticket with somebody who is Ron Paul's exact opposite on every single issue?

That's a good question. How could someone who likes Ron Paul, who is supposedly on the same page, run with someone who is almost the exact opposite of Ron? Doesn't make sense.

She evidently has the stones to get in the game and hope to make a difference for the better.

If she's not there, she can't do anything for our country.

She's not stupid, this lady is a player who is ready for the big show.

If McCain picked her, you can bet she's on board with the neoconservatives.

She polls 80 - 90 percent approval ratings up there - she must be making a 'difference for the better' for the residents there.

Clinton had a sky high approval rating in Arkansas, and McCain's pretty popular in AZ. Doesn't mean I think they're worth spit.

When your research reveals that she's just another neocon who wants to keep fighting Bush's "war on terror," will that change your mind, or are you just sold on a pretty smile? For example, this quote from her acceptance speech:

i have to agree with Rupert here, scrap. that statement tells me all i need to know about Palin.

Yeah, she sucks on foreign policy, but domestically she is very good. She sure beats Lieberman and is the best one of the Obama/Biden McCain/Palin bunch.

She supported Pat Buchanan when he ran so she can't be that much of a warmonger. I am still voting for Chuck Baldwin even though I will have to write him in, but Sara is a very good choice for McCain. I have to give credit where credit is due, McCain made the bold choice here for VP and very well could be the next President because of it.
