Dobson was a bigger jerk for stating it and giving Moore the open shot
The pastor at our church was pretty blunt about Falwell, Robertson and the others who made the comments about Katrina and 9/11 and their comments about why these disasters happened. He said something like - Does Falwell, Robertson and the rest think the Lord is going to send those who suffered during these disasters and who are believers and followers of HIS word a "Best Wishes card" that says "Sorry you also suffered, but I had to punish those horrible sinners - Hope you get well soon"?
It sounds like you have a real American for a pastor, sir.
I agree, that's why we have remained at this church for the past year. After my accident we tried probably 5 or 6 different churches (stayed away from a few if you know what I mean) but did not find one we felt was what worshiping the Lord was what it was really about. We didn't go for a few weeks and while I was looking on line for other churches around the valley I came across this one and noticed it was within walking distance of our house. The first time we went we knew it was were we belonged.
