Ahhh... McCain's women :))) Sarah, Hanna, Cindy... Gustav? But, I must admit, I'm a bit puzzled. Did all political activities stop during WW2? Weren't there election, party conventions, electoral campaigns while hundreds or thousands of Americans were dying on foreign lands? And, today... they stop the stupid GOP convention because of a strong wind? How wimpy is this?

Yep, Minnesota is a long ways from NOLA, it should be business as usual in order to show the ability to function normally when there is a small crisis somewhere.
No shiite. This would be a small, localized crisis. Not requiring the shut down of our political sham. The question comes, who is more stupid, we, or they? Or is it a draw?

Gentleman.....NOLA is a "Chocolate City" (see Mayor Nagin) and as such deserves special government attention. Those that deny THEM special rights will be called ugly names.
Unless you get off your chocolate ass, your city will soon enough be a nice latte, or maybe pure vanilla. Don't count on Paraguay Jorge to do shiite for you guys - get it done, yourselves.

They appear to be the stupid ones if you take their actions at face value. But, when trying to understand what they do in situations like this, you have to assume the evil, and then try to figure out how their actions benefit their agenda. You can't look at it through innocent eyes or use any kind of logic to figure it out. They are conditioning us to panic over nothing.
I shall not vote for evil, lesser or otherwise.
