Businesswire article reporting on checkpoint systems press release http://www.forbes.com/businesswire/feeds/businesswire/2008/06/19/businesswire20080619005080r1.html

EXCERPT:

Checkpoint Systems, Inc. (NYSE: CKP), a leading manufacturer and marketer of identification, tracking, security and merchandising solutions for the retail industry and its supply chain, today announced that a number of major retailers are now piloting its Evolve state-of-the-art shrink management technology, which was introduced earlier this year.

Retailers now utilizing the Evolve products include Anchor Blue, Babies R Us, CVS, LensCrafters, Kohl's, Toys R Us, Vans and Wilsons.

Evolve is Checkpoint's next-generation suite of electronic article surveillance (EAS) products. Evolve solutions provide retailers with a highly-scalable EAS system that helps reduce shrink, boost profitability and improve the customer shopping experience. In tandem with RFID technology, Evolve can also increase inventory visibility and accuracy through its in-store tracking capabilities.

Featuring improved Radio Frequency (RF) tag detection, Smart Alarm Management (SAM) to improve system integrity, and a Software Defined Radio (SDR) that can support multiple EAS and RFID tag frequencies, Evolve significantly improves the performance of traditional EAS technologies and provides retailers with a migration path for RFID adoption. "Tracking!" First and honestly...is she, and her radio host, being disingenuous? Are we really tracked once the sensor is pried off of your item at checkout? Aren't these "tracking" RFID's merely for inventory control (and theft prevention) up UNTIL the moment of purchase?

Thanks for any enlightenments.

yeah, she's a very meticulous researcher and the companies own internal documents and schemes, many of which she's exposed, including gillette, have talked about what they view as 'the stupid dupes' (consumers) who will fall for the security aspects while they admit these things are for tracking , control as well as marketing and compiling personal data on all of us and using it against us. safeway for example recently announced they are selling shoppers grocery lists (compiled from loyalty cards) to health ins. companies databases.

I dont think Dr Albrecht is being disingenuous at all about the implications of RFID. she is one of my favorite people in the freedom movement, and has been for years. Excellent insight and analysis on many issues. meticulous researcher and teacher as well as a rabble rouser and wonderful Christian libertarian lady. A class act, IMO. you may remember she also appeared in aaron russo's freedom to fascism. I highly recommend her daily show on HTTP://WTPRN.COM , for what it's worth. I try to listen every day.

I am in agreement with you on this but have noticed that Albrecht has voids in her knowledge concerning the banking cabals and Jewish influence in government among other things. At least she admits as much.

I have no problem with people claiming to be Christians but think the actions of intentional fraudsters like Hagee, Copeland, the Grahams, Ralph Reed, Pat Robertson, and Tim LaFaye etc., cause realistic Christians to appear deranged or misguided. Most Christians haven't bothered to investigate their claimed belief system nor do they operate according to their so-called Christian values system which makes them look like a pack of stupid hypocrits ... and causes alarm or animosity amongst non-believers FOR GOOD REASON.

man, i never paid much attention to all those tv preachers or any protestant preachers or zionists for that matter. as i told someone here before, i never even knew any jews until i was almost 20. (am Catholic). , and i never understood this american obsession with jews/ israel, until i later learned of the zionist influence. seeing that the jews killed Jesus aned now they run the world and the money , and Jesus said the world essentially is the kingdom of satan, what else is there to know?

Before his death, William Cooper would point out that the people were going along with these things based on their own choices. I personally dismiss the occult approach to analyzing our situation, except to concede that the mechanisms are available to leaders. Oddly enough, it's probably the people who believe in the occult who are most influenced by gestures and symbols.

I recognize that "invisible" powers exist, but once we start basing our entire analysis on them, we'll believe in anything. The loss of our liberty has been 200 years in the making, and it has involved a whole cast of characters. At the center of the passion play is ourselves. We gave it up, and we can take it back. There is certainly a way, even if it's currently unclear to us.

seeing that the jews killed Jesus aned now they run the world and the money , and Jesus said the world essentially is the kingdom of satan, what else is there to know?

According to the New Testament, Jesus was murdered 3 days after he ran the "money changers" from the Temple Treasury. If we use secular thinking regarding this event we can see that the mastery of finance underlies the murder of those in opposition. I like to put flesh and bones on these biblical characters (as recommended by one of my favorite teachers).

The theory of "it's the Jews" all of the time is inaccurate and fails to address the involvment of others. Whatever occurred in Babylon many years prior to the establishment of the "tribes of Israel" caused a subversive group to spread out into the world. This group today includes the "Papacy", the "City of London Masonics" and the "Israeli (Intel Agencies) terrorists". I call them the Trinity of Evil. The Jews are more easily identified because of their arrogance, and conduct. The others are every bit as much involved but it takes more digging to recognize them and they're harder to identify.

Secret Societies are anti-social and the enemy of free people. There are many of these secret groups and most of the participants aren't aware of the inner circle's works or intent. No justification can be made for the continued existence of any secret society in an open and free state.

All of the above being considered we should realize that the problem free people face is one that includes people of all ethnicities, religions, or other fraternities operating for their own purposes most often in compartmentalized pyramidal systems (top down management).

We, the people, are our own worst enemy because we have the power to shut them down but continue to finance them. The International Banking/Multinational Corporations owe their existence and success to the fraudulent usage and issuance of currency that WE ACCEPT AND USE to our own detriment. I can't overstate how much harm is self-inflicted because we refuse to get off of the convenience tit provided by the usurpers of freedom known as bankers.

[Our entire legal system has been made of NO EFFECT because of the commercial paper we call "Federal Reserve Notes" (and the same effect occurs internationally through all central banks). The Constitutional protections we believe in are forfeited by us when we enter their system through the fake currencies. It is that simple. Commercial Law has operated far longer than our Constitution which means NOTHING once we VOLUNTEER to enter COMMERCE through the myriad of contracts we sign that demonstrate our APPLICATION to waive our organic law in lieu of their socialist bullshit system.

In concluding this post I wouldn't be honest if I didn't admit getting rid of the Jews in America would drastically improve our conditions. The Jews negative impact upon America is devastating, their numbers are few, their participation in treason is most obvious and expelling them would cause the least amount of damage to innocent people even though some innocent people would be harmed.

Anyone interested in seeing how much damage is done to our freedom by the international bankers should read the 5 part series here:

www.biblebelievers.org.au/a country.htm

"Every effort has been made by the Federal Reserve Board to conceal its power but the truth is the Federal Reserve Board has usurped the Government of the United States." "Mr. Chairman, the people of the United States did not perceive that a world system was being set up here that the United States was to be lowered to the position of a coolie country. . and was to supply financial power to an international superstate -- a superstate controlled by international bankers and international industrialists acting together to enslave the World for their own pleasure."

Who is upset about it? The shoplifters union?

It would be neat if technology advanced to the point where you could walk into a store, pick whatever you wanted and then left with without a need to stop by the cashiers. I can see such technology implemented in 5-10 years.

You think it's OK to wear a pair of shoes that maintains a working RFID tag in it, with the potential to store and transmit unique information about you and your location wherever you walk when sensors are nearby?

I don't think it's OK. In the store, I'm willing to pick up items with tags. Out of the store, I want them removed and deactivated. And I don't want the government thinking about tagging my wallet or anything else, either.

The RFID tag does not transmit information about 'my' location. It transmits information about my shoes. If you heard about Lo-jack(sp?) and On-Star, this is already happening with cars. Some sensitive laptops are set to beam a signal at regular intervals, showing their location. The very computer from which you are currently reading this reply can be EASILY located. And, need we talk about cell phones? All of the above are much more interesting as far as tracking is concerned than groceries or apparel and they are tracked or could be tracked today, with relative ease.

Q1 - If I wear my shoes, my wife wears my shirt (she does sometimes) and someone 'finds' my laptop and walks with it then... where am I based on RFID data?

Q2 - If my wife buys underwear for the entire family then... what are you tracking? Is she going to be at 2 different schools, out of state and at the post office at the same time?

Well, since to most of us, a read is much more efficient than a video, a nice text would be enjoyable to see, before I waste time on a video which probably does not show me the beef until the last 2 minutes. I'll do some fast research and post what I find since the video is all that remains with still no explanation or proof by any posters who surely, must be very knowledgeable about the subject matter to ostracize those not willing to believe? I'll see what I can find, pro or con, and post it

Well, the cell tower IS only tracking the phone not you...but I digress..*I* have not researched this subject at *all* and nobody has bothered to post text, (I am suspicious of moset vids on new topics and they are not at all time efficient) so let me do some research and I shall post what I can find in an attempt to get to the bottom of this. We shall see who stands to gain, the companies in question, and/or the video seller.

there is no video for sale, iit's an audio clip from a radio show. anyway here is the info in text format,

www.rense.com/ general57/RFIDtrackingdevicestogo.htm stores tried this years ago, for example gillette put rfid tags in merchandise and took peoples photos when they removed the item from the shelf, then took the photo again when the person paid for it. they do not remove the tags after the consumer leaves. walmart has mandated all their suppliers implement rfid. homeland security is putting rfid into all passports. kids are given rfid bracelets in school ''for safety'' and of late, kids are given rfid to keep them safe from gustav.

as you know, govt doesnt care about 'keeping you safe', it's about tracking and control. here is another article, from wired.

here is the data she covered in the recent broadcast. you may have also heard of retail supermarket chains which admit they compile and sell grocery store purchase info they compile via 'savings cards' to health insurance companies.:

The RFID tag does not transmit information about 'my' location.

Let's say that we weren't talking about RFID tags with unique signatures, as is being reported in this story. One day in the future, many tagging systems will be unique, but for the sake of argument, let's assume that the journalist in question here is somehow mistaken.

We're talking about tags that are permanently attached to products that you take with you, such as shoes. There are millions of products available on the market. However, your tag (assuming there's only one) narrows down to a particular product. You and several thousand other people bought the same kind of shoe. Furthermore, only a certain chain of stores is selling that shoe with that RFID tagging scheme. Only one location uses that scheme, let's say. Your credit card identifies you as having purchased a shoe with that scheme.

Now we have a hundred people or so. Only a few of them bought shoes with a credit card from your bank. (You were lucky, there was more than you.) However, through market profiling, and the store is cooperating in this investigation, we know that only two people match the group that would buy those pairs of shoes with your kind of card, at that location.

It's only two people, so both are now under investigation.

The crime in question is a thought crime, but the courts decide that one of you is guilty. The sentence? It doesn't matter. You're convicted.

And, need we talk about cell phones?
While committing this thought crime in question, you're free to leave your phone at home. But you need to wear shoes. By the way, the vendor does not inform you that these shoes are embedded with a chip. You may or may not be aware that your belt has another one in it.
If my wife buys underwear for the entire family then... what are you tracking?
Your wife does not match the profile of a thought criminal.

I rest my case. By the way, there will be RFID vendor immunity in the upcoming thought crime illegality hearings.
