Everyone is struggling to come up with the 'one word' that would best describe Sarah. I just found it: REPTILIAN If anyone can find a better one-word, let's hear it. On the McCain front, he is expected to say: "I got scars but Obama don't." Other news breaking on the MSNBC: Buchanan is turning completely senile and rushing back into the GOP fold. The one-word for Buchanan: PATHETIC. For 'personal news', I had a very interesting experience with an illegal immigrant in Hazelton, today. Actually, there were 2 of them and a baby.

I dont watch or listen to conventions, so dont know. I did watch Palin last night as had never heard of her before. difficult to consider someone you know nothing about. I know toooooo much about McKooK.

I think I see the arc of Ron Paul's career, and it's winding down. He made his swan song speech at the R4R rally, and it was the best I've heard yet. He orated well. He will indeed denounce McCain, as he has before in a defacto manner. It won't matter if he increases the edge on his rhetoric. He will not endorse Palin. And not much will change. McCain will probably win the election. Hillary will continue to be a junior senator from New York. And there will be war in Iran, and Russia will respond by launching a regional counter-movement that PNAC will describe as the next Cold War. Alex Jones will say we're all going to die, and many supporters will agree, in principle. Shares of Mountain House Food will go up. And white people will be outnumbered in America by 2020. The press will remain in the same hands, however. No one will report a disaster. The stock market will rise that year. There will be massive voter drives.

But I didn't tell you the story of the Israeli who used to work for some super- secret gov't facility near Hershey. OUR government. He's the other person I met in Hazelton today - for a moment I thought it was Borat or maybe his twin brother. My view on the millions of illegals? They are here because they are wanted. There are jobs waiting for them here or there are employers willing to hire them or they could not survive here. You got sucked in. Hard. Im just stating the way I see it. Im voting Baldwin or McCain. But I think McCains pick changed the race and gave him a huge advantage. I talked to two women today I never met before. They both loved Sarah Palin. One was a Hillary supporter.
Im talking about Kucinich in general. I guess the little troll makes a good point once in a rare while. But he is a socialist who is for abortion and against owning guns for the UN. He is useless to freedom lovers.

Correct. Those who want them can afford to buy themselves a major party or two. What I'm saying is that very few illegals come here because they want to take over the country. I suspect that some do but most are probably attracted by opportunities: both work opportunities and the opportunities given by the welfare state. If you've traveled trough the Third World you would have noticed that people die in the middle of the road and few care and their government is the least who does. You tell these people that in the US the gov't would pay your rent and give you food coupons and they are going to make an effort to move here. Another, anecdote, if you will. I used to date this girl, originally from Shanghai. She's an artist of some notoriety now. She grew up in a rural place and she remembers how people there were discussing 'America'. The general consensus, she told me, was that America's streets were paved with gold, at least in the major cities.
