This is probably my favorite song by B.J. Thomas. In my opinion it is a far better song than Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head but it never got anything close to the same airtime.

I have never had a New York woman either. I just happen to love this song. And other than the reference to New York I think it could fit with the love you can feel for any lady.

You keep 'em straight on here, lodwick, or as near as you can anyway. I have to get up way early and go to Atlanta in the morning (grumble, grumble, if God had meant for us to see the sunrise he would have scheduled it later in the day).

Thank you. I made it--took an old, retired heart doctor down there to the funeral of his best friend. The guy I took down there was 82 and he said he and this other guy had known each other since they were six years old.

Thanks. I like that song ok too but to me Eyes of a New York Woman is just flat better than any song he ever sang. Of course that is just my opinion and I am sure you know the saying about opinions.

In my life, I've found that the more that I give, the more that I get in return.

It's a blessing, both ways.

And I keep trying to test the limits, but have yet to find that it's not true.

I think that is true too. In giving, both are blessed. The one who gives is blessed with the knowledge that he helped someone else. The one who receives is blessed because he knows that someone cared and was willing to help him. And giving with the right attitude is pleasing to God from whom all blessings flow.
