A lawyer was explaining the concept of ethics to his teenage son. "Suppose a client came into your office for some legal advice about a contract," the father posited. "You discuss the matter and then bill him $100 for the advice. The client pulls out his wallet and hands you a crisp $100 bill, and then leaves.
"As you are putting the new bill in your wallet you see that he has given you not one $100 bill, but two $100 bills. Now comes the ethical question: Do you split the money with your partner?"
