U.S. Democratic Nominee's Rhetoric of Change amounts to Mass-Deception and Mass Manipulation

The U.S. and its allies are dropping record numbers of bombs on Afghanistan. This is not news. In the first half of this year, 1,853 bombs were dropped: more than all the bombs of 2006 and most of 2007. "The most frequently used bombs," the Air Force Times reports, "are the 500lb and 2,000lb satellite-guided . . ." Without this one-sided onslaught, the resurgence of the Taliban, it is clear, might not have happened. Even Hamid Karzai, America's and Britain's puppet, has said so. The presence and the aggression of foreigners have all but united a resistance that now includes former warlords once on the CIA's payroll.

The scandal of this would be headline news, were it not for what George W Bush's former spokesman Scott McClellan has called "complicit enablers" -- journalists who serve as little more than official amplifiers. Having declared Afghanistan a "good war", the complicit enablers are now anointing Barack Obama as he tours the bloodfests in Afghanistan and Iraq. What they never say is that Obama is a jingoistic bomber.

In the New York Times on 14 July, in an article spun to appear as if he is ending the war in Iraq, Obama demanded more war in Afghanistan and, in effect, an invasion of Pakistan. He wants more combat troops, more helicopters, more bombs. Bush may be on his way out, but the Republicans have built an ideological machine that transcends the loss of electoral power - because their collaborators are, as the American writer Mike Whitney put it succinctly, "bait-and-switch" Democrats, of whom Obama is the prince.

Those who write of Obama that "when it comes to international affairs, he will be a huge improvement on Bush" demonstrate the same wilful naivety that backed the bait-and-switch of Bill Clinton -- and Tony Blair. Of Blair, wrote the late Hugo Young in 1997, "ideology has surrendered entirely to 'values' . . . there are no sacred cows [and] no fossilised limits to the ground over which the mind might range in search of a better Britain . . ."

Eleven years and five wars later, at least a million people lie dead. Barack Obama is the American Blair. Obama simply for being African American, does not make him necessarily a sincere agent of change. He is indeed an eloquent advocate of mercenary and rampant system whose drum majors and cheer squads never see, or want to see, the consequences of 500lb bombs dropped unerringly on mud, stone and straw houses.

For Obama believers, you must understand that his mentor Rev. Wright, was right on one thing for sure. The chickens will come home to roost. You have already offered up five wars to visit upon your children. Want more?

The war pigs here owe it to Obingo to send their progeny off to battle the evil moooslims in Afghanistan. Some PILES are young enough to go themselves, and I urge them to take advantage of the opportunity to serve their master.

It's unfortunate.

No it's not. Naivety suggests a broken heart is the worst outcome. Willful naivety in spite of physical evidence that war can result in death and worse, is evil. Should an amputee be unable to use the internet, I"m sure the Obama type folks would find them useless, despite the fact they had sent them to 'fight' for their CIC. Remember it's all worth it, until you need something back besides a box and a flag.

Absolutely!

They try to pass themselves off as lefties. They should BE so honest. As the age of eligible 'volunteers' increase, I EXPECT Obingonista's to form a line at the recruitment center.

I don't think he'd go. He's in his late 20s and makes big bucks in North Carolina working in trauma medicine. And both his parents (and step father) were in the U.S. Army. He knows that organization from being an Army brat and hates it. ;-)

He's African-American and Irish and considers his and his wife's donations to Obama quite enough political activity for them. He's in no way the political animal I or his Mom are.

As for my Ex, she's scary to butt heads politically with. I am a better debater, but she's far more ruthless and intense then me when arguing. She's one of the few I have ever disagreed with and purposely let them win the argument as to escape with all my fingers, toes and no pound of flesh out of my rump.

She is a high school administrator, thus has more combat time under her belt then I will ever have. ;-)

They are sickening to watch. At the least regular war hawks want war 'over there' elsewhere, where only the poor shits that volunteer get screwed over by the sender, and we know what happens to the the recipients. Counted only when politics matter, otherwise, fodder and blood to grease the cogs.

At last, the demhawks are making it clear that their war is first at home against Americans and happily willing to cull their ranks through war against people they don't give a crap about anyway.

The gay parade is over, masks and makeup OFF. Most are waking up to the smell of the rot. Rather late, but at some point, the smell gets you.

They contacted me about six years ago telling me how critically short they were especially with commo (which I am) and medical. I turned them down. It's kinda good I did, because the bonus they offered which seemed good then is far higher now for someone like me.

They have to do this because they are hemorrhaging people to firms like Halliburton and Blackwater. (When I got out years ago, I refused to return queries from Blackwater.)

I do not want Bush as my commander in chief, and I've become far more political then I was in the Army. I mean, even back then by mouth got me a Special Court martial I was lucky enough to win. I would be a goner if I was in these days.

Question: What else do we have to export? War is the only export we have to offer the world.

Now isn't that one of the greatest pertinent questions at this time. WE have NOTHING. Nothing but cannon fodder. The actual human beings of our country were sold at birth. I bet that includes you too. We are 'property'. Therefore, for the new world order to achieve it's means it had long ago decided that an unlimited army of meat would be provided to achieve the end goal.

As you might have noticed, American weapon technology is being sold off to satisfy current debts. Think about that for a while.

We do not own our infrastructure, waterways, public lands. Our military is owned by corporations. Our Congress is owned by Aipac. Our schools are controlled by Marxists. Our banks and most large corporations are foreign owned. Our property is owned by the state. Our voices are owned by the Israeli controlled ballot black boxes. Our Supreme Court is owned by the banksters.

Are you feeling insignificant yet?

buck...

If he is an RN he is already on Selective Service call list.

New regulations cover doctors, PAs, NPs, nurses and in some cases EMTs.

All such are on a list and in case of a draft, Selective Service must supply the military with up to 36,000 from the above list within so many days if requested.

The age limits I forget but most are up to 45, some to 55, no exceptions.
