Ever since my pug kicked the bucket I have seen seeking a rescue to adopt. This little guy is too far away, but the story was so heart-breaking I sent them money.
Whomever owned him kept him in a small cage his entire life and starved him. He had forgotten how to walk and was completely unaware of his environment. Then he was dumped at a shelter to be euthanized.
The pug rescue started feeding him and he started walking again. They still don't know if he's blind or not, but they told me he's gaining weight and is getting better.
When I mentioned I didn't understand how anyone could do that to a dog, especially a pug, she told me she sees this kind of abuse all the time.
Some people don't deserve to live, and I wouldn't lose a wink of sleep if a truck hit them.
