I was listening to Carrie Fisher on NPR last week, and found out she's been bipolar since her teens. She was a drug addict for years, and said opiates saved her life. She's undergone electroshock and lost a few months of her memory. She said she never wanted to be an actress, just a writer. She once woke up with a dead guy. Accidental OD on his part.

Princess Leah, say it ain't so.

I was very surprised. Not just marijuana and booze, but opiates, LSD...all of it. She said anti-depressants didn't work on her, so they used electroshock, which she said turned her life around, even though she lost a few month's worth of her memory.

She really did wake up in bed with a dead guy, who died overnight from an O.D.

I always wanted to remember her as Princess Leia, but it'll be hard now.

Freeper: I read, but do not understand, write, but make no sense, think, but nothing happens.

Waking up next to a stiff would tend to make one re-evaluate one's life choices.

She's Debbie Reynold's and Eddie Fisher's daughter? I think.
