Six percentage points is the price Barack Obama could pay on election day for being black.

That disturbing calculation was found in a groundbreaking new Associated Press-Yahoo News poll conducted with Stanford University which probes the effect of the Democratic presidential candidate's race on his historic campaign for the White House.

"There's a penalty for prejudice, and it's not trivial," Stanford University political scientist Paul Sniderman told the AP.

What is even more disturbing but also quite entertaining is the possibility of President Palin.

I predict should that occur it will be clear within only a few days of her taking the oath of office that she is perhaps in charge of redecorating the Oval Office, but that's it.

There are a lot of knee padding white guilters out and about.

Is there any penalty or bias in considering McKooK will get ...zero...black votes???

Of course not.

When she was chosen I said she was best suited for management at McDonald's. Nothing she has done to date has changed my mind. Anyone who thinks the mess we're in has a political solution is clinically insane.

White guilt is mostly for show. It's a way for rich white liberals to show each other and everyone else how enlightened and progressive they are. But when nobody is watching, I doubt any of them care half as much about Obama and his agenda as they pretend to.

Considering you and Sam are correct, why was she selected???????????????

Alaska in 2004 had less than a half million registered voters, total. Pubs are way outnumbered by dems, inds and other parties.

And here comes the predictable MSM with the standard "whites racist, blacks not" BS. They can stick Michelle and Barry up their butts, he'll never be my president. Never.

Well, McCain agrees with the selection because she has an attractive derriere. Every time he is standing on a podium behind her, he cannot keep his eyes off her shapely booty. There is a growing body of YouTube vids attesting to this.

But I don't think he was necessarily in charge of the selection either. I think McNuts' staff had to find someone to light up the Rapture Nutter crowd and get them "on fire for the Lord" about the election. And it seems to have worked. The evangelical right is at least half the GOP membership at this point.

It got to where I couldn't tell whether I was in a church service or a GOP rally when Chimp was in his "smoke 'em out" "bomb 'em all" heyday. So I stopped going to the local Baptist church. It just offended me. The Spirit led me out of there, as Baptist lingo would put it.

Sam...

...derriere....aside, what possible reason can be found for bringing a person that is not qualified for anything, has no voters to bring to the table, that is too simple.

Obummer was assigned an over the hill lifetime political hack for VP, a millstone around Obummers neck. Obama/Clinton would have been a surefire winner, instead Obama takes a loser aboard????

It isn't so much that people who say that they'll vote for BHO will vote for McCain instead. It's just that liberal white Democrats aren't nearly as excited about his candidacy as the MSM would want you to believe. Many of them won't be motivated enough to even bother voting. This was the same problem McCain was having with the Bible Belt vote, which he's partially solved with his new prop.

I think the leftist driven media saw in Obama a chance to complete the mongrelization of America by pimping for Obama. I can't explain his Biden choice, but never, ever count the Clinton's out of power plays. Bill has been AWOL and Hillary is at best lukewarm. You'd think she and Michelle would be doing events? Something reeks and given the history of this nation, IMVHO, Obama better inc. his life insurance.

And here comes the predictable MSM with the standard "whites racist, blacks not" BS.

To the extent that an intellectual, scientific, empirical understanding of race is called racism, it's not BS.

While most blacks may act in ethnically self-interested ways, they cannot, except for the occasional talented tenther, be said to be race conscious.

The obvious corollary is that blacks also generally cannot, as an exercise in intellect and moralizing, be aracial in the same way that a white can. This is one reason multiculturalism fails.
