Dear Friend,

McCain got you doing it too, huh? Calling every individual you talk to or write to "my friend" and "dear friend(s)." For whatever it's worth I advise you not to do that. It makes you look and sound phony like McCain and surely you don't want that, do you?

I know that John McCain is the right person to lead our great country forward in these challenging times. Republicans across the country and I share his vision for keeping America prosperous and secure and look forward to helping communicate that vision to the American voters.

McCain is having "visions," is he? And you are having them too? And you think that McCain is "the right person to lead our great country forward" even though he is one of the main players who has led this country to the edge of the precipice and who has always had a rather cozy connection with bankers. Does the name "Keating 5" ring a bell? And of course you probably already know this but McCain is not a great friend of the First Amendment (McCain-Feingold mean anything to you?) "In April 2006, when Don Imus still roamed the airwaves, he asked Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., about the charge that his campaign-finance legislation violated the First Amendment.

McCain’s response was revealing. “I would rather have a clean government than one where quote 'First Amendment rights' are being respected that has become corrupt,” McCain said. “If I had my choice, I’d rather have the clean government.” For McCain, First Amendment runs 2nd to campaign reform. So McCain joined another commie and gutted the first amendment so that we could have "a clean government." Oh my freakin' sides! As if McCain cares all that much about "a clean government." Not as long as there are lobbyists to take money from and engage in extracurricular activities.

As Governor of Alaska, I have worked hard to bring reform to politics-as-usual, fight corruption and waste, and make certain that government serves the people, not the special interests.

I understand there was an unfortunate incident in regards to some kind of sports stadium that all the t's weren't crossed and the i's weren't dotted (the paperwork wasn't complete) and that cost the little town you were mayor of quite a bit more money than it should have. And then there was that "road to nowhere" that you were for before you were against. Not that just about all politicians don't do things like that but that is just more "politics-as-usual" or at least to people who can look at it objectively, it is.

Our Party’s entire ticket, from top to bottom, is committed to an agenda of cutting wasteful pork-barrel spending and keeping taxes low so that American families can decide how to spend more of their hard-earned money instead of bureaucrats in Washington. We must act now to increase our energy independence and ensure our economy grows strong and offers opportunity to all of our citizens.

Your "entire party," from top to bottom, got us involved in a disastrous war against people who had not harmed us (Iraq). And the cost for this idiocy is ongoing but far too many American lives and way too much money have already been thrown away for Bush's agenda. The national debt has gone through the roof thanks to the idiotic policies of Bush and the other idiots in government--and yes, that applies to the Democrats who have gone along with it. And as if it isn't enough that we are bogged down in Iraq and Afghanistan and have troops in nearly every country in the world, Bush is now threatening Iran. Will he be satisfied with nothing less than another World War? Some of us would rather not have one if it is all the same to you nice folks in Washington.

I applaud John McCain’s personal example of dedication and sacrifice to our country, and I know he has the courage and experience to make the tough decisions that will keep America strong to face the threats to our security from Islamic terrorism, nuclear proliferation, and tyrannical regimes.

Yes. John McCain's "dedication and sacrifice." He sacrificed his first wife who waited for him to come home from Vietnam and dedicated himself to the rich beer heiress who helped him buy his first election. He is about as dedicated to America as he was to his first wife which is to say not much.

Like John McCain, Reform Republicans are optimistic about America’s future -- and confident that we will build on our past successes to make our great country even greater.

I am glad someone is optimistic about it. I can see why the bankers are since they have such good friends in government who will see to it that no matter what kind of stupid loans they made they won't ever have to lose anything because of it. And I don't know what "past successes" you are talking about unless you are talking about the country as it used to be long ago, a long time before you and McCain were even born. A long line of politicians, starting with that mountebank, Abe Lincoln, and then Wilson, FDR, etc., etc., have presided over a country on the brink of ruin and which appears to be on its last trip around the bowl.

We reject the Democrats’ fearful and pessimistic mentality. When we are able to get our message past the liberal mainstream media filter – directly to the voters – the vast majority of the American people agree with our confident, optimistic view of principled, conservative government and opportunity for all.

I reject the Democrats too but no more than the alleged Republicans. When you are able to get your message directly to the voters, about how much of it is true? Just a ballpark figure would be ok, we both know that it is not a great amount. The vast majority of the American people are content so long as their popcorn bowl is full, their television is working ok and they have a good supply of their favorite beverage. Americans, good people though they are, just don't pay much attention to what the people in Washington are doing to them and to the country. And there is no chance of a "principled, conservative government" without principled, conservative people in the top jobs, people who haven't sold out to special interests (that would be people like Ron Paul and Chuck Baldwin, not John McCain).

But the Obama Democrats and their allies are set to raise over $1 billion to relentlessly flood America’s airwaves with their negative and false attacks against our Republican candidates.

McCain is getting more than enough money from the public trough. Surely 84 million (at least I think that is what it is) will purchase enough airtime and pay for enough print ads to convey whatever bs message McCain wants to convey.

That’s why I’m asking for your help. Please help give us the resources we need to fight back against the Democrats and their fearful tactics of doom-and-gloom. Help us fight for a better future for all Americans today by making a secure online contribution of $2,000, $1,000, $500, $100, $50 or $35 to the Republican National Committee.

I told the RNC a long time ago when they sent me another letter asking for my "help" that they should have thought about little things like that when they were trashing the Constitution and casting it out the windows of the White House in little bits and pieces. Even if I had more money than I could count I wouldn't give either branch of our one party system three and a half cents, let alone 2 grand.

I am honored to have been asked by John McCain to join him at the top of the ticket in this historic presidential election -- and now I am asking you to join with me and all of our candidates as we fight for victory on November 4th.

You are "honored" that John McCain asked you to help him oversee the death of America? That is pretty much what is happening and will happen no matter whether he or Obama is Diebolded into office. Victory for you and McCain or Obama and Biden is a loss for America.

Sincerely,

Sarah Palin

P.S. As we near Election Day, we must cut through the false claims and fearful rhetoric of the Obama-Biden Democrats. Please help us make sure we have the resources we need to get our commonsense, confident message out to the American people by making a secure online campaign contribution of $2,000, $1,000, $500, $100, $50 or $35 to the RNC today. Thank you.

"False claims and fearful rhetoric"? You mean politicians LIE? No, say it ain't so! Oh the humanity! pfffffffftttttttt!

If you REALLY want to mess with the Republicans, send five dollars to their campaign. They'll end up spending a hundred times that endlessly bugging you to send in even more. If you can deal with the endless junk mail and other crap they'll send your way, it's a great way to screw with them.
