Supremacists distribute fliers attacking Obama Leaflets are delivered in some Roxbury neighborhoods over weekend Tuesday, September 23, 2008 BY LAWRENCE RAGONESE Star-Ledger Staff Some neighborhoods in Roxbury were blanketed over the weekend with campaign literature from a white supremacist, anti-immigration group that bluntly raised the issue of race regarding presidential candidate Barack Obama, offending some recipients and angering Democratic leaders. A flier left on driveways in a neatly packaged plastic envelope and distributed by a group named the League of American Patriots, with a Butler mailing address, questioned, "Do You Want A Black President?" and stated "Black Ruled Nations most unstable and violent in the world." -Snip
Poster Comment: They make a strong point regarding the useless black ruled nations. There isn't one worth a damn.

the part that is the problem with his being black, imo, is that his socialist, leftist ideology and policies are being, not only accepted, but lauded by otherwise 'educated' folks. i.e. white guilters. i don't think he'd be looked upon as the savior with these same policies were he white.

The black-and-white flier cites poverty, HIV and unemployment rates in Haiti and South Africa and says: "The United States of America will be next! Why should we seal our fate by allowing a black ruler to destroy us?" That quote points to skin color, not policy, as being the issue.

His resume stinks, his policies stink, his vague plans fool only those who imagine they devine his meaning to match their desires. He lies about his race, he is disrespectful of those who raised him, his spiritual leader is a racist as his is wife. There is nothing to like. Without a teleprompter, he's a bucket of goo, without one original thought of his own. All he has is a cadre' of supporters that insist none of the above matters, and shouldn't, because he's black. The persistent use of the 'race card', does nothing to promote the cause of a color-blind society, which only one part of society has been browbeaten to embrace or shut up.

that's the part i was focusing on. i believe a study would reveal this to be true. nevertheless, i, personally, would have no problem supporting a black man or woman who shares my values and political ideology. i think you would have to admit, they are few and far between.

My point is that christine agreed with a quote that stated that Obama was a bad leader BECAUSE he is black. I want to know where SHE, is coming from and I'd like a straight answer, not a convoluted "white guilter" one. I already know what your opinion is on blacks and I still value your insights even though I have to filter out your racism and bias.

I'm sure that if a black candidate ran with Ron Paul's political views, everybody here would support him (even though almost no black people would). The trouble with Obama isn't his race as such, but his embrace of black identity politics. But these white supremacists are morons if they think they'll get a much better deal with McCain. McCain would like nothing better than to see the whole American southwest become an extension of Mexico. Obama's Afrocentrism is at least understandable. What's McCain's excuse?
Obama being black is the problem, but it isn't his fault. Since his birth to his mother Sidney, Barry has lived in a culture that has defined blacks as victims and whites as racists. It's obvious by some of the comments on this thread that some white oafs take a knee jerk position when smacked upside the head with fact. I wish one white guilter would please hop up and give one current example of a successful black government. Damned if I can think of one but why let fact stand in the way of emotion?
I am an admitted racist because I prefer my own race. People of color are NOT racists because they prefer their own race. And then we have the white guilters that have become so programmed that they would see their own race disappear before they would see the light. The white race is a small minority in this world and the people of color are trying their best to eliminate us as we are the root of all their problems. The white guilters defy explanation. I will say this, I suspect the huge majority marry within their own race, live with their own race and yet live on their knees.
They're easy to explain. Whites reward other whites for altruism. Because of this reward system, altruism becomes competitive. Fine. Worked great when different white groups were limited by technology to their own neighborhoods. But what is more altruistic than out-group altruism? It was the very triumph of whites that enabled them to indulge in out-group altruism with few bad short-term or personal consequences. But the long-term consequences and short-term externalities are bad; it is no longer competitive altruism, but compulsive altruism, in the sense of the reinforcement schedule of what is called compulsive gambling. Whether whites will high or low bottom remains to be seen.
