I was in the process of preparing a post on the "campaign suspension" announcement by McCain, so I will just shorten it and say the following Bush-McCain-Obama know the obvious, there is no need to campaign anyway. Follow along-- The official word from the administration is that the "bailout for wall street" must occur by Oct 1, which just coincidentally happens to be the first day of the new US Corporate Government's fiscal year, when the financial system must conform to the new Basel agreement.. Congress has balked at the size of the bailout, which though touted at $700B, is has a good chance of exceeding $14 Trillion. (the number spoken by Bernanke under questioning)....However some have ventured numbers more than 100 times the latter, or 1000 Trillion. Such numbers boggle the imagination. Congress will continue to "negotiate" read "delay" the bill because of the vast public outcry from us peons, "forcing" an "October Surprise" from Herr Bush that elections are suspended until further notice. This announcement will occur around the first week of October, as sure as God made little green apples.. Because-- even congress- facing the lowest approval rating in history, don't want elections either, and their excuse will be-- Hey--we did not have time to campaign because "we were working for you..."

If this actually happens, there will be no doubt that we will have crossed the Rubicon. The Constitution will truly have become just a piece of paper.
Duck... If it happens, we the "Citizen Americans" will need to put a bounty on all elected and appointed scum in Washington.
No way, this would trigger massive street riots from 90% of blacks (election stolen from Obama) and a smattering of unwashed white trash eco-weenies.

If we had an "America First Army General", he would put a ring around DC and tell the scum to come out with hands up and their pants down. Throw every damned one of them in prison to await trial and hanging.
If things get bad enough, that will happen organically. If the country ever figures out what these crooks have done, nothing will postpone reckoning day.

Wrong. Obama is part of the system. He will not fight any suspension of the elections. Just look at how he is rolling over today and calling for "bipartisanship" (translation: monopartisanship as there is only one party in reality, the "money power" party).

I agree, Obama will go along with what his masters tell him to do. It's the American blacks (90%) who would spontaneously riot, they're beyond any control from Obama or any other civil authority.

Just heard on the radio that an 'outline' agreement would probably be reached/announced tomorrow, but it will probably take 4,5,6 more days to finalize it. That would take us to Oct. 1.

I look for the government to use duck tape, bubble gum or what have they to get this affair patched up beyond election. Shades of 1933, look out for what may happen with a "new" president.
