The follow up with Palin next week and the GOP will spend (again) another 40 years wondering around in the dark...I'm actually embarrassed to be a white guy tonight....I expect Obama to club him like a baby seal
"War Hero" is such a distraction, McCain is a US Senator and Presidential Candidate, I didn't realize we were also selecting an action movie protagonist. Sombitch get my Long Island Iced Tea recipe and it's all over.
I watched Ross Perot (get derided and shredded, as he told the truth).
And I watched Ron Paul get tossed in the garbage heap, earlier this year.
Lod...
I try to have a little humor because if not I would be crying about the sad condition of America and its voters.
Regardless of "party", the voters have given us two losers, both will have bigger government and both will give us more killing and dying. They may wear different uniforms but they are on the same TEAM.
A country of 300 million and these two losers are the beauty contest?
Why should that be a surprise? What does the McDonalds sign say?
Heck, if even 100 people with diverse tastes vote on where to have dinner, they don't end up at what any of them would consider a nice restaurant. They end up at the lowest common denominator.
There are two possible solutions to this: divide people into groups with similar tastes, or ditch democracy.
I don't believe democracy is even possible in a homogeneous culture and forced diversity is little more than Lenin's dictatorship of the proles rearticulated. The 24/7 imposition of gangsta rap is a prime example of Lenin's dictum. It destroyed an entire generation of white kids.

Hey, I'm working on it. I confess I still have a soft spot for Bobby Jimmy, Too $hort, and the Geto Boys.
But lemme tell ya something. I also used to listen to Pink Floyd. And today, I literally can't stand 'em. I can't believe I listened to that shit. If forced to choose, I would choose rap. My new spic neighbors occasionally treat the neighborhood to nigger music and the sound of their TV -- aural displays like that are status displays among Hispanics -- but at least I don't have to listen to Floyd.
Rap makes me wanna shoot myself. Immortal Technique is about the only rapper I can stand and even then in limited doses of about five minutes.
The older I get, the further I go into the old scratchy records from 60, 70, 80 years ago. I just have less patience for noise as I approach my fifth decade in this vale of beers.
