i know MSM uses it all the time. the candidates haven't and don't that i know of. the only one who's come close is bush with his "...as long as i'm the dictator" audacious comment.

McCain kept going on criticizing Obama for proposing meeting with Ahmadinejad, and to emphasize it, McCain praised how previous presidents handled meeting with foreign leaders, citing among others Nixon's trip to China.
Did anyone notice how, when asked about the invasion of South Ossetia by Russian forces, both McCain and Obama treated the question as if the Russians were the instigators, and the poor Georgians were just innocent victims of those evil Russians? Meanwhile, back in reality, every single objective report from that conflict clearly stated that the GEORGIANS were the ones who ATTACKED FIRST, and they attacked UNARMED CIVILIAN TARGETS, running roughshod over South Ossetia for over 36 hours before the Russians staged their very successful counter-attack.

Actually, thanks to the internet we DO have some power, the power to point out their bald-faced lies on forums like this one, and to hopefully make others aware of how they're being lied to.
My dearly departed father told me about all that was to happen with this financial crapola since the early eighties. After many years of no one being able to hear him, he has been proved right on SO many levels. He told me that the internet will topple the regime just as the earliest printing press toppled its regime in its time. He said it happens fast. May it be so.
