I thought you hated government intervention in market?
I do, but this time is different. It's the only way out unless you want to see a complete collapse of the banking system, i.e. you go to an ATM machine and they have no money....none of'em
Now on the bright side. It looks like private exchanges will end up clearing OTC trades and THE PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED......! forever
Oh, look people, some McCain supporters dropped by our thread to voice their opinion:
Duck, it's a damn drive-by and we're outnumbered!!
The best and first guarantor of our neutrality and our independent existence is the defensive will of the people and the proverbial marksmanship of the Swiss shooter. Each soldier a good marksman! Each shot a hit! -Schweizerische Schuetzenzeitung (Swiss Shooting Federation) April, 1941

bring it on, lol, we got plenty squirrels round here.

Would you order someone to shut off my water if I voted for a candidate you disapproved of?

Cool, you can eat them but what are you gonna wash'em down with...rain water?
Cake, motherfucker, plain fucking cake.

The 24/7 imposition of gangsta rap is a prime example of Lenin's dictum. It destroyed an entire generation of white kids.
Hey, I'm working on it. I confess I still have a soft spot for Bobby Jimmy, Too $hort, and the Geto Boys.
But lemme tell ya something. I also used to listen to Pink Floyd. And today, I literally can't stand 'em. I can't believe I listened to that shit. If forced to choose, I would choose rap. My new spic neighbors occasionally treat the neighborhood to nigger music and the sound of their TV -- aural displays like that are status displays among Hispanics -- but at least I don't have to listen to Floyd.
Rap, at least, is not music to shoot yourself by.
It seems fair to regard negroes as on the average inferior to white men. -- Bertrand Russell
Race! It is a feeling, not a reality: ninety-five percent, at least, is a feeling." -- Benito Mussolini

Rap makes me wanna shoot myself. Immortal Technique is about the only rapper I can stand and even then in limited doses of about five minutes.
The older I get, the further I go into the old scratchy records from 60, 70, 80 years ago. I just have less patience for noise as I approach my fifth decade in this vale of beers.
Do the universe a favor, go slap JFK Jr and if you have time bring me a sammich.
Ham.
With mustard.

"The dignity, integrity, and rights of the American and European people are being played with by a small but deceitful number of people called Zionists. Although they are a minuscule minority, they have been dominating an important portion of the financial and monetary centers, as well as the political decision-making centers of some European countries and the U.S. in a deceitful, complex, and furtive manner.
It is deeply disastrous to witness that some presidential or premier nominees in some big countries have to visit these people, take part in their gatherings, swear their allegiance and a commitment to their interests, in order to attain financial or media support.
This means that the great people of America and various nations of Europe need to obey the demands and wishes of a small number of acquisitive and invasive people.
These nations are spending their dignity and resources on the crimes, and occupations, and the threats of the Zionist network against their will. "
Amen.
Not one of our national nitwits could have strung these words together - even with the 'help' of their speechwriters.
We underestimate, and denigrate, Mahmoud, to our detriment.
A nation of mullets, ruled by inbred, moronic traitors.

Did anyone notice how, when asked about the invasion of South Ossetia by Russian forces, both McCain and Obama treated the question as if the Russians were the instigators, and the poor Georgians were just innocent victims of those evil Russians? Meanwhile, back in reality, every single objective report from that conflict clearly stated that the GEORGIANS were the ones who ATTACKED FIRST, and they attacked UNARMED CIVILIAN TARGETS, running roughshod over South Ossetia for over 36 hours before the Russians staged their very successful counter-attack.
lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie...and it works every time. they have all the power while those of us who see through the ruses have none.
But lemme tell ya something. I also used to listen to Pink Floyd. And today, I literally can't stand 'em.
Amazing. I also was a major Floyd fan, even went to see "The Wall" down at the LA Sports Arena. But now, like you, just don't care for them any longer. Well, "Wish You Were Here" isn't too bad, but overall they just don't do much for me. But you know what band from that era has really grown on me? Procol Harum. Go figure.
Gold and silver are REAL money, paper is but a promise.

Actually, thanks to the internet we DO have some power, the power to point out their bald-faced lies on forums like this one, and to hopefully make others aware of how they're being lied to.

i've noticed that i've become much more noise sensitive too. maybe it's because since my husband and i discovered the internet, we don't watch television or listen to radio. it's just him and me and two cats, so i've become accustomed to quiet and now i get irritable (and it makes my ears ring) when there's a lot of noise.
Interesting post, I could of wrote it. I even broke from the Critical Mass ride tonight halfway though it because it was too much noise and confusion to put up with after working all day.

Quiet is the first music. ; ) I tend to drive in silence a lot these days too. I lose my train of thought if I bombard myself with sound and noise anymore.
McCain sounded depressed. Obama sounded mad. Jim sounded bewildered. The audience was very happy it was over, I was too. It really sucked, but I watched the whole thing anyway.
I am looking forward to the Palin/Biden debate next week. It should be a lot more entertaining.
My dearly departed father told me about all that was to happen with this financial crapola since the early eighties. After many years of no one being able to hear him, he has been proved right on SO many levels. He told me that the internet will topple the regime just as the earliest printing press toppled its regime in its time. He said it happens fast. May it be so.
It's not that easy Elliott. The death by a million cuts MUST go on.

For me, the prospect of the RATS controlling the White House AND Congress scares the crap out of me. IMO They'll go on a rampage of leftist legislation never seen before and it'll all pass into law.
That's too much power for people who think the Constitution is a "living document"
