I thought you hated government intervention in market?

I do, but this time is different. It's the only way out unless you want to see a complete collapse of the banking system, i.e. you go to an ATM machine and they have no money....none of'em

Now on the bright side. It looks like private exchanges will end up clearing OTC trades and THE PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED......! forever

The 24/7 imposition of gangsta rap is a prime example of Lenin's dictum. It destroyed an entire generation of white kids.

Hey, I'm working on it. I confess I still have a soft spot for Bobby Jimmy, Too $hort, and the Geto Boys.

But lemme tell ya something. I also used to listen to Pink Floyd. And today, I literally can't stand 'em. I can't believe I listened to that shit. If forced to choose, I would choose rap. My new spic neighbors occasionally treat the neighborhood to nigger music and the sound of their TV -- aural displays like that are status displays among Hispanics -- but at least I don't have to listen to Floyd.

Rap, at least, is not music to shoot yourself by.

True. It's music to shoot others by.

Rap makes me wanna shoot myself. Immortal Technique is about the only rapper I can stand and even then in limited doses of about five minutes.

The older I get, the further I go into the old scratchy records from 60, 70, 80 years ago. I just have less patience for noise as I approach my fifth decade in this vale of beers.

"The dignity, integrity, and rights of the American and European people are being played with by a small but deceitful number of people called Zionists. Although they are a minuscule minority, they have been dominating an important portion of the financial and monetary centers, as well as the political decision-making centers of some European countries and the U.S. in a deceitful, complex, and furtive manner.

It is deeply disastrous to witness that some presidential or premier nominees in some big countries have to visit these people, take part in their gatherings, swear their allegiance and a commitment to their interests, in order to attain financial or media support.

This means that the great people of America and various nations of Europe need to obey the demands and wishes of a small number of acquisitive and invasive people.

These nations are spending their dignity and resources on the crimes, and occupations, and the threats of the Zionist network against their will. "

Did anyone notice how, when asked about the invasion of South Ossetia by Russian forces, both McCain and Obama treated the question as if the Russians were the instigators, and the poor Georgians were just innocent victims of those evil Russians? Meanwhile, back in reality, every single objective report from that conflict clearly stated that the GEORGIANS were the ones who ATTACKED FIRST, and they attacked UNARMED CIVILIAN TARGETS, running roughshod over South Ossetia for over 36 hours before the Russians staged their very successful counter-attack.

Amazing. I also was a major Floyd fan, even went to see "The Wall" down at the LA Sports Arena. But now, like you, just don't care for them any longer. Well, "Wish You Were Here" isn't too bad, but overall they just don't do much for me. But you know what band from that era has really grown on me? Procol Harum. Go figure.

i've noticed that i've become much more noise sensitive too. maybe it's because since my husband and i discovered the internet, we don't watch television or listen to radio. it's just him and me and two cats, so i've become accustomed to quiet and now i get irritable (and it makes my ears ring) when there's a lot of noise.

My dearly departed father told me about all that was to happen with this financial crapola since the early eighties. After many years of no one being able to hear him, he has been proved right on SO many levels. He told me that the internet will topple the regime just as the earliest printing press toppled its regime in its time. He said it happens fast. May it be so.
