State of Alaska > Governor > News > News Details Prince Hall Masonic Week The most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge, Free and Accepted Masons of the Alaska Jurisdiction has been in existence since September 1969. The members of the Prince Hall Grand Lodge, F. & A.M. and the Prince Hall Grand Chapter Order of Eastern Stars have rendered valuable service in all levels of government and in their communities. The Prince Hall Masonic Family has become a valuable resource in our State of Alaska, through its civic contributions. Special recognition is extended to the Prince Hall Masonic Family for its commitment to civic contributions, demonstrated through the awarding of educational scholarships and its substantial financial and volunteer participation in the commemoration of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. celebration. The Prince Hall Grand Lodge will convene its 35th Annual Communication of the Prince Hall Grand Chapter, Order of Eastern Stars, beginning April 14, 2007, in Anchorage, Alaska. NOW, THEREFORE, I, Sarah Palin, Governor of the State of Alaska, do hereby proclaim April 14-17, 2007, as: Prince Hall Masonic Week in Alaska, and urge everyone to show appreciation this week on behalf of the members of the Prince Hall Grand Lodge and the Prince Hall Grand Chapter Order of Eastern Stars for all their contributions to the State of Alaska. For those who don't know, the Prince Hall Masons are essentially all black. What does Sarah have to say about the 'regular' Masons, who have done so much for Alaskans, with their charity work, dating back to around 1868? Coming from Alaska, I don't like to crticize another Alaskan, but this one is "Bad-to-the-Bone." Her 'kind' is referred to as a "Tundra Queen."
I didn't know that. That's odd. When I lived in Alaska...a LONG time ago, I could probably have counted the black people in Juneau on one hand. What does Sarah have to say about the 'regular' Masons, who have done so much for Alaskans, with their charity work, dating back to around 1868? I don't know. this one is "Bad-to-the-Bone." I'm hardly following this election and the candidates at all, but this one has made me wonder on more than one occasion whether she were Jewish. She's seems so happy to sacrifice her son, not to mention the rest of us, for Israel. Yesterday I read about the controversy about her declaring that the only flag in her office was Israeli, and I finally decided to do a search to see what I could find. I think she's Jewish. It only stands to reason she would be, not to mention, she looks Jewish, and her name 'Sarah' means 'princess' in Hebrew, and of course Sarah was a pretty important person in the Bible.
