While we know that both men have personal opinions that are being covered up on stage during events like these, McCain lost the debate hands-down. Also, Obama got to defend some of his earlier remarks (that we've used against him) on Afghanistan. However, he did not — as his association with Brzezinski might suggest — diminish his hawkish stances on Georgia and the Ukraine.
