IMPORTANT NOTICE

Dear Friends,

After 18 months of broadcasting, WTPRN has closed it's doors.

We would like to thank all the hosts who gave so much to participate in this network and make it such a valuable resource for information, and we wish every one of them well in their future endeavors.

We also wish to thank the sponsors and listeners who donated to help fund the operation for the past 18 months. Your sacrifices have touched many lives and helped many to understand what is really going on in world politics.

We expect to be able to keep the archives up permanently, and we wish everyone well in their quest for the knowledge that the mainstream refuses to bring forth.

this is a damn shame. I've noticed alex jones and jack blood programs were removed from the WTPRN lineup a few weeks ago, then badnarik left, and eric whoru who no longer on. They say their archives will be up permanently, i high recommend everyone check them out and save the ones of interest, particularly Dr Katherine Albrecht and Eric WhoRU, which were my two favorite shows. WTPRN was a great station and will be missed. ;-( Subscribe to *9-11*

Was GCN behind the initial start up of WTPRN ?

Is it all about funding or personalities.

i first heard about the station here, when there was some mix-up and battle between radio station owners or some such thing, and one guy broke off , another hijacked some website he owned the name to, (was it rbn?) , and anyway wtprn was born out of that mess which I didnt pay too much attention too; although i remember alex jones talked about it on his show, etc. Christine do you remember what that was all about?

it was a good station anyway, while it lasted, and they still have free archives up, which is nice. (i'd suspect probably not for too much longer) I liked george gordon's show also. i first really started listening to wtprn the night that there were shots fired at ed & elaine brown's house, the websites were down and wtprn had a live accoun ting of events on their listen in phone line, which is still working as of now, at 512- 485-9010.

The two men who started WTPRN had been major employees of RBN, as web-master and IT guy. At the time of the break-off, many of RBN's hosts left and changed to WTPRN. When I heard they could no longer transmit AJ and Jack Blood and Badnarik announced his move to GCN last week, I figured the demise of the station was coming soon...and sure enough. It is a shame, but the manner in which those two men exited RBN was a bit underhanded, IMO. And WAY too public.

thanks for the reminder and explanation, what was the name of the guy who posted the ominous message on the station website? Lol. that was sort of funny, and a lesson for people to entirely own their own domain name, passwords, etc. you're right it was way too public and silly. reminds me oif the battle between bob shultz and devvy kidd. ever see THAT one? yikes.. and steven jones vs jim fetzer, to a lesser degree. human nature i guess, but public infighting always makes all parties look bad.

there was a similar thing among l.a. 911 truth groups, i suggested to one party that they NEVER discuss it in public to any degree, ever. no matter what the other party said.

not sure, I've never listened to rbn or gcn, other than alex jones show.

i listened to wtprn largely because of their free phone listen line which was more convenient for me while on the go, than a computer . their free listen line is still up as of now, at 512 485 9010. I like george gordon's show also, he has free archives at georgegordon.org. wtprn also still has thousands of hours of free mp3 archives available for download. a wealth of great programming. good for an mp3 player i suppose. ill have to buy one of those.

thanks. had you heard her show before? she sent out an email announcing it, but i've never listened to gcn and since they dont have free archives for download i dont think im gonna be able to listen. wtprn i always listened to live via cell phone, or through their archived mp3's. however, i can now hear the alex jones show 24 hrs/ day via the former wtprn listen line, which is cool. 512 485 9010. is the rule of law radio show going to gcn? i called them once to ask about the tx traffic ticket and they said to email them about it; randy said he had a fullproof defense, but i had called late in the show. but then they never answered me. i think it was something about, out of state drivers must be given a magristrate hearing within 3 days.
