Well we've had a dunce in the whitehouse that let everybody and every department run roughshod over the economy, trashed the Constitution, and have engaged in endless expensive wars. Aren't you so proud of this current administration? I do give you credit however. You make no bones nor are you burdened by your willingness to settle on the lesser of two evils. We could of had someone to vote for in Ron Paul that understands what has happened and is happening and voters like you are willing to settle for marginal candidates who are willing puppets of those who have taken us to the brink of losing our freedoms and our very country.
Once you vote, keep a low profile. If this country ever has a second revolution, I suspect there are some out there who wouldn't treat you and your kind to kindly. I'll be praying for you to get straightened out and to see how you have been tricked and hoodwinked by those who hate America and want a One World Government.
Some people are incapable of learning from their mistakes. They voted for Bush eight years ago to "stop Gore." Now, they're voting for McCain to "stop Obama," or Obama to "stop McCain." What they don't realize is that no matter what party gets elected, every President we get will be worse than the one before.
Think about how bad Bush 41 was compared to Reagan, how bad Clinton was compared to Bush 41, and how much worse Bush 43 is than Clinton. Both McCain and Obama will make an even bigger mess of things than Bush 43 has done, even if they do it in different ways (McCain by starting World War III, Obama by playing LBJ and creating another "Great Society").
Why? You fit right in. Anyone who can't see that the Bush administration has caused as much damage to the economy, our relations with other countries, and our liberties as any Democrat is too much of a fool to be worth bothering with.

His administration has been so bad on every front that he makes me miss both his father and Clinton.

I have stated repeatedly on this site that I have no plans to vote for either McCain or Obama. You on the other hand are a declared McCain voter. I'm sure in 2000 you were a Bush voter for the same reasons. When this forum was overrun with Obama shills like that scumbag Mekons (a mirror image of you, only on the Obama side of the aisle, I may add), I spent most of my time arguing with their BS. Now that they're mostly gone and the site is infested with McCain/Palin shills like you, I spend more time attacking McCain.

This was an important enough issue that I would overlook all other faults and vote for any candidate who opposed fleecing the taxpayer to bail out Wall Street. Anybody with the guts to tell voters "We will let the banks and insurance companies free fall. Times will be tough, but it will breed financial discipline and build a stronger economy in the long run" would be showing real leadership. But that's obviously asking too much from four political hacks.
The fact that both Obama and McCain supported the W. and Barney show bailout is reason enough to write them both off as political garbage.
