Did anyone die at the olympic bombing?

IIRC one person had a heart attack and later died, a pre-existing condition that could have been triggered by anything.

It's not just that...

-----

Candidate Comparison: Top Contributors 2008 Cycle

Barack Obama

Goldman Sachs $739,521
University of California $697,506
Harvard University $501,489
Citigroup Inc $492,548
Google Inc $487,355

John McCain

Merrill Lynch $349,170
Citigroup Inc $287,801
Morgan Stanley $249,377
Goldman Sachs $220,045
JPMorgan Chase & Co $206,392
-----

They both share Citigroup and Goldman Sux as backers. The real money's backing Obama and McCain is the dancing monkey in the circus to make Obama look good. On top of it all, Jewgle loves Obama too.

It looks like America is going to have an honest to God banker-backed Marxist as president, all bought and paid for fair and square. Remember what happened in Russia when banker-backed Marxists ran the joint?

However, in the larger scheme of things, I suspect Obama was created for a reason, being President was an ancillary condition.

I'm not even sure that "Ayers" is such a bad guy.

From what little I know of him, he was protesting against the Vietnam war.

Ayers was a bad guy.

The weathermen were overt Marxists that used dissent over Viet Nam to try to recruit people to their cause. It didn't work, nobody was buying their communist BS. About the only thing they did well was drop out and go into hiding after a few bombings. They stayed in hiding for over 25 years...doing nothing

It's an indication of the depth of the conditioning and brainwashing that the apex-dwellers have been foisting upon four or five generations of Americans. Most of the sheep will die ignorant of the fact that they spent their entire lives being suckered. I try to be patient with people still in the dark but I also don't waste a lot of time on them. If someone's eyes aren't starting to open to the election grift, they're dense as an oak post.

I know a lot of kids in their 20's. Even the dimmer ones are hip to the scam. The next generation isn't going to be as compliant as the last few generations were.

YOU are the one that suggests they're howling at the wind over the Ayers-Obama connection. The 'storyline' put out to date is that they just happen to live in the same neighborhood, they just happen to have their kids in the same school, that they just happen to be on not one board of directors of some organizqation, but 2 boards, Ayers just happened to give a Meet the Candidate party at his house for Obama----but they have no connections with each other.

So, I'm asking you if you would have us believe that there nothing there? Puleeze......that is exactly why I asked you how many parties you or your friends give for people you don't know. People don't give parties in their homes for people they don't know or are not familiar with.

Guess I forgot to give my opinion as to the topic of the thread.......

According to the article I read, the lead investigator said she abused power; however, the legislative committee didn't approve the report or adopt the report; they took no action on the content of the report--other than to put it out to the public, and that was due seemingly to pressure.

So the investigator, who has leadings to the D side of the the world says she did. It is my feelings that she herself should have been stronger in demanding some action.

It hasn't been in just the last week that people have been tazered and died; that moron former BIL could have killed a 10 year old kid!

Furthermore, with threads being made to the family, I don't blame Todd for wanting the guy gone. Would you appreciate an ex- making threads against your wife, or your daughter's ex-husband doing it, or to your Mom? It seems like you can pick the paper up daily or near daily and find that some idiot parent has killed their kids and spouse. You can sure bet had the guy followed through, they'd be nailing Todd's ass for not having the balls to take care of his family.

With that said, were it just stupid talk from the former BIL, it would be really, really, really stupid on the part of that family to try to get the guy fired when there are children who need child support. And as a state trooper, he'd be making good money, and have excellent benefits which would cover the kids.

Excerpt from The Daily Reckoning:

We like Sarah Palin; we don't know what she is talking about. But she is the only candidate we can't make fun of it for.

Consider this. You will find it hard to follow. Because it is not in English; it is in Palinese:

"That's what I say that I like every American I am speaking with we're ill about this position that we been put in where it is taxpayers looking to bailout, but ultimately what the bailout does is help those who are concerned about the healthcare reform that is needed to help shore up our economy, um, helping the, oh, it's got to be all about job creation, too, shoring up our economy and, and, putting it back on the right track; so health care reform and reducing taxes and reigning in spending has got to accompany tax reductions and tax relief for Americans and trade... we have we got to see trade as an opportunity not as, a competitive, um, scary thing, but one in five jobs being created in the trade sector today, we we've got to look at that as more opportunity, all of those things under the umbrella of job creation, this bailout is part of that..."

But just because the woman is a half-wit hardly disqualifies her from public office. The average county commissioner or governor is not much better. And at least one of America's finest presidents was probably little smarter than a moron.

We refer to Warren Harding.

Me too. So much for the internet waking people up. Leading horses to water and all that.

I think it's an emotional rather than a rational response. People get emotionally attached to party, football team, Coke/Pepsi, Trotsky/Stalin, etc. There's no way to rationally approach anything on that level, which is why the brainwashing media appeals to peoples' baser emotions as it's far easier to manipulate through pandering and fear mongering. The powers that be would be out of business if people actually thought for themselves.

I don't agree with the bailout. But some people think it is necessary. What she is saying is very simple. She thinks that if the whole economy goes down it will affect lots of different things people want done. Such as health care, jobs etc.

This explanatory statement makes your figures more meaningful:

From the webpage...

"These tables list the top donors to these candidates in the 2008 election cycle. The organizations themselves did not donate , rather the money came from the organization's PAC, its individual members or employees or owners, and those individuals' immediate families. Organization totals include subsidiaries and affiliates.

Because of contribution limits, organizations that bundle together many individual contributions are often among the top donors to presidential candidates. These contributions can come from the organization's members or employees (and their families). The organization may support one candidate, or hedge its bets by supporting multiple candidates."

Non-sequitur. Yes, they would be different histories. But if the differences are orthogonal to your values, then they don't matter.

The claim that there is no difference, if innocent, confuses a subjective statement of values for an objective fact of the universe.

N.B. This behavior is more frequent among women.
