Poster Comment: I live in a hollow tree in the Ozarks, get my water from a stream, and eat lots of free roots and berries. The rest of the world can collapse, and I'll be okay. I have to get another pug, though.

Not true... In case of "national emergency" requiring "relocation" of city dwellers, we are to receive 100,000 persons from New York City. Turtleville will gain its share.
Turtleville will gain its share. This is really a business opportunity. Housing will be needed. I think we should consider building manufactured hollow tree stumps. The banking industry is begging to loan money right now. We should get in while the scam is fresh.
Remember...these will be NON WORKING consumer types only??????
Perrrrfect. The bank is going to loan us the money to build them, sell them for big profit, foreclose, seize and then pay us to do it all over again. 'Housing' is just the name of the scam, it does not require a need for actual occupants.
The rest of the world can collapse, and I'll be okay.
