O'jahnae Smith is ready and registered to vote this November. There's only one problem: She's 7 years old. The Connecticut girl is 11 years too young - and nobody in her family knows how she ended up on a voter registration form submitted by ACORN, the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now. "She's registered to vote?" said a surprised Jerome Smith, O'jahnae's teenage brother. "She's too young to vote." But that didn't stop someone from forging the child's signature on a voter registration card and giving her a fake birth date that upped her age to 27. The family told The Post a drug-addicted relative may have given the bogus card to ACORN. Voter registration fraud complaints like these continue to mount for the group, already under scrutiny in 11 states where hundreds, if not thousands, of new registrations are being questioned. ACORN volunteers have been found to register dead people and even put members of the Dallas Cowboys on Nevada lists. The community organizing group has a long history of flooding low- and middle-income neighborhoods in election years with temporary workers instructed to register 20 to 25 voters per day - or risk getting fired. Most states prohibit paying per signature, but ACORN workers earning $8 to $9 an hour still have to hit their quotas. And many need the money - including some ex-cons in work-release programs. ACORN's controversial tactics have fueled John McCain's criticism of Barack Obama, whose campaign paid an ACORN spinoff - Community Services Inc. - about $800,000 to knock on doors and urge people to vote for Obama in four key primary states: Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Texas. In his pre-politics days, Obama ran the Illinois chapter of Project Vote in 1992, before it hooked up with ACORN. McCain campaign manager Rick Davis on Friday called for a freeze on taxpayer dollars to ACORN until recent allegations have been investigated. Meanwhile, state authorities in New Mexico, Indiana, Missouri, Connecticut, Ohio, Florida, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Nevada have launched probes of bogus voter registration forms filed by ACORN. Roberta Casteel, a nurse, is one of several dozen Nevada voters caught in the web of fake ACORN registrations. Casteel, a registered voter since 1991, was shocked to receive a letter rejecting a voter application she didn't know she'd made. Authorities said they'd received two voter applications in her name: one as a Democrat and one as an independent. Both cards had her address, date of birth and Social Security number, and were submitted by ACORN workers. Neither signature matched her original one on file. A former ACORN worker in Pennsylvania has already been charged with 17 counts of identity theft and forgery. Other states are sifting through cartons of suspicious forms. The ACORN shenanigans likely won't rise to actual voting fraud, stressed election law expert Terri Enns at Ohio State University. "ACORN's problematic registrations create extra work for election boards, because they have to check them, but it's not double voting," she said.

Cyni, I assume you're white, therefore any discussion of Acorn and voter fraud is racist. Yes, I posted this article but I'm a repentant white, unlike you. It isn't too late to hop on the Obongo band wagon and I strongly suggest you do.

When the rich man fails to show up ….. Subject: Socialism An interesting spin on our tax system Suppose that every day, ten men go out for beer and the bill for all ten comes to $100. If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes, it would go something like this: The first four men (the poorest) would pay nothing. The fifth would pay $1. The sixth would pay $3. The seventh would pay $7. The eighth would pay $12. The ninth would pay $18. The tenth man (the richest) would pay $59. So, that's what they decided to do The ten men drank in the bar every day and seemed quite happy with the arrangement, until one day, the owner threw them a curve. 'Since you are all such good customers,' he said, 'I'm going to reduce the cost of your daily beer by $20.' Drinks for the ten now cost just $80. The group still wanted to pay their bill the way we pay our taxes so the first four men were unaffected. They would still drink for free. But what about the other six men - the paying customers? How could they divide the $20 windfall so that everyone would get his 'fair share?' They realized that $20 divided by six is $3.33. But if they subtracted that from everybody's share, then the fifth man and the sixth man would each end up being paid to drink his beer. So, the bar owner suggested that it would be fair to reduce each man's bill by roughly the same amount, and he proceeded to work out the amounts each should pay. And so: The fifth man, like the first four, now paid nothing (100% savings). The sixth now paid $2 instead of $3 (33%savings). The seventh now pay $5 instead of $7 (28%savings). The eighth now paid $9 instead of $12 (25% savings). The ninth now paid $14 instead of $18 (22% savings). The tenth now paid $49 instead of $59 (16% savings). Each of the six was better off than before. And the first four continued t o drink for free. But once outside the restaurant, the men began to compare their savings. 'I only got a dollar out of the $20,'declared the sixth man. He pointed to the tenth man,' but he got $10!' 'Yeah, that's right,' exclaimed the fifth man. 'I only saved a dollar, too. It's unfair that he got ten times more than I got'. 'That's true!!' shouted the seventh man. 'Why should he get $10 back when I got only two? The wealthy get all the breaks!' 'Wait a minute,' yelled the first four men in unison. 'We didn't get anything at all. The system exploits the poor!' The nine men surrounded the tenth and beat him up. The next night the tenth man didn't show up for drinks so the nine sat down and had beers without him. But when it came time to pay the bill, they discovered something important. They didn't have enough money between all of them for even half of the bill! And that, ladies and gentlemen, journalists and college professors, is how our tax system works. The pe ople who pay the highest taxes get the most benefit from a tax reduction. Tax them too much, attack them for being wealthy, and they just may not show up anymore. They in turned informed the other nine that the lost beer money would be returned to the rich man at their expense. Thus the rich man DRANK FREE. The debt is now on all ten. hehehehehehehehehehehe
Not many govs listen to broke folks, do they? It will be interesting to learn what all the financial gurus have cooked up for us over this long weekend. Somehow, I don't believe that it will help most of us here.

This bailout proved that ALWAYS wealth defies gravity and flows upwards. this SOCIALIST WELFARE FRAUD received the grand total of $300 bucks...pure socialism. I've observed nothing in my old life to refute that theory.
That is very true... Capitalists fully understand that the majority of people have little or no desire to rule the world, create huge banks or found a major industry. Most of us are just common run of the mill people, that are content to eat regularly and have a roof over our heads. That is the sweet life of ignorance that we live. However, we at the bottom have NEVER taken this country to war, never maimed and slaughtered people by the millions. We have never brought financial crashes, destitution and poverty, you never see our name on any bill or law, we are nobody, and perfectly willing to remain that way, if the elite would just leave us the hell alone.

Earlier today, Mike said Obama needed to be like FDR as President. Frankly that made me rather ill. FDR was a capitalist of the highest order. Evaded the draft of WW1. Never had his hands dirty in his life. Silver spoon and all of that. Millions went unemployed and hungry, FOR YEARS. I recall hearing FDR promising us that American boys would never be sent to fight in foreign wars. That SOB lied, he brought us a draft and at once the call went out for men available to die for another war. And who did the rotten bastards drag off to war, to never return???? It was NOT the wealthy man buying the beer, it was was the white trash bottom feeding Americans that just wanted to be left alone. Half a million of us died. Half a damned million kids that never had a life. Mike my want Obama to be FDR, not me. I was there and we PAID the bar bill in full. Just leave us the hell alone.
I heard that from Bronco Bomba supporters at work a week ago, fireside chats and all. We need more critical thinking and less critical theory it seems. Who's gonna do it? I get beat up too easily and I'm too clumsy to own a gun.
History is a hard taskmaster... Our young people have been brainwashed into believing that Lincoln and Roosevelt were also our saviors. Far from it. It will not be one of my kind from the bottom that presides over the next mass slaughter, that is a given. However we will be the FIRST to be dragged off one more time. They send your family a Purple Heart and brief note extending someones sympathy. The good life goes on.
