Why I Left Organized Christendom – and Why I Joined the Jehovah’s Witnesses

Matthew 7:13, 14; “Go in through the narrow gate; because broad and spacious is the road leading off into destruction, and many are the ones going in through it; 14 whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it.

I started reading the Bible more than 20 years ago, alone. Why alone? Because I simply did not know of anyone who actually read the Bible. I was raised a Roman Catholic; they certainly do not read the Bible! Others claim to, but everything that I saw in the organized churches of Christendom were but a reflection of the Roman Catholic church.

So I started reading a Bible that had been given me by a friend. That Bible, which I still use to some extent, was a King James Study Bible, and, when I found the Scripture above, it opened my eyes further and started me on a life long quest; I have no wish to be like everyone else. Never have had.

In the King James;

Matthew 7:13, 14; Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

You will note how the two translations harmonize. Most of the Bibles harmonize; it is just that you must take more care in understanding some because the meanings are harder to decipher. Perhaps this is deliberate; most all translators of the Holy Scriptures into English have been Trinitarians. More on this in just a moment.

Just before I read Matthew 7:13 the first time, I found this in the King James Bible;

Jeremiah 10:2, ; Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. 3 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. 4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. 5 They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. …

I probably do not need to transcribe these verses for you from another Bible; all of them are basically the same. After I read this, I had to go back and read it several more times over a period of time, just to be sure that it said everything that I thought it did. No Christmas tree?! Where did this come from?

Perhaps the better question was… where did Christmas come from? But it took me a couple of years to get to that question. After I reached that point, it did not take me long to find the answers. In any search engine, just type in Nimrod and Christmas.

www.xanga.com/Babylon_The_Great/554683845/item.html

I am not going to go into great detail, because most of you have seen all of this information before! However, unlike myself, you permit yourself to serve yourself instead of putting the wishes of Jehovah FIRST.

"Nimrod started the great organized worldly apostasy from God that has dominated this world until now. Nimrod married his own mother, whose name was Semiramis. After Nimrod's death, his so-called mother-wife, Semiramis, propagated the evil doctrine of the survival of Nimrod as a spirit being. She claimed a full-grown evergreen tree sprang overnight from a dead tree stump, which symbolized the springing forth unto new life of the dead Nimrod. On each anniversary of his birth, she claimed, Nimrod would visit the evergreen tree and leave gifts upon it. December 25th, was the birthday of Nimrod. This is the real origin of the Christmas tree." -The Plain Truth About Christmas by David J. Stewart | December 24th, 2005

"Traditionally, a yule log was burned in the fireplace on Christmas Eve and during the night as the log's embers died, there appeared in the room, as if by magic, a Christmas tree surrounded by gifts. The yule log represented the sun-god Nimrod and the Christmas tree represented himself resurrected as his own son Tammuz." --After Armageddon -Chapter 4 -- Where do we get our ideas? by John A. Sarkett

Now, let me see, what does organized Christendom have to say about Christmas?

kingskidstuff.home.att.net/christmas.htm

“But God gave the greatest gift ever given - himself, that very first Christmas.”

Aimed directly at children; how interesting. Why bother posting more? Just type Christian Christmas into any search engine and read all that you wish to. But all of you know this, yet you insist on doing that which is clearly forbidden. Just as does all apostate Christendom.

Is there more?

Easter. Just type in pagan Easter. Interesting.

First site up; Santeria Wiccans.

Next site up:

Would Jesus Keep Easter? Order Free Book

Get free book with true story of Easter bunny, colored eggs & Jesus.

The short answer to the above is, no.

altreligion.about.com/cs/alchemy/a/mpreviss.htm

In second century Europe, the predominate spring festival was a raucous Saxon fertility celebration in honor of the Saxon Goddess Eastre (Ostara), whose sacred animal was a hare.

The colored eggs associated with the bunny are of another, even more ancient origin. The eggs associated with this and other Vernal festivals have been symbols of rebirth and fertility for so long the precise roots of the tradition are unknown, and may date to the beginning of human civilization. Ancient Romans and Greeks used eggs as symbols of fertility, rebirth, and abundance- eggs were solar symbols, and figured in the festivals of numerous resurrected gods.

Just type in Easter and pagan into any search engine and read all about it.

I stopped this non-sense, fast, once I caught on. This is what real Christians do.

BUT but but!!! My family!!

Matthew 10: 34, 35; Do not think that I came to put peace upon the earth; I came to put, not peace, but a sword. 35 For I came to cause division, with a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a young wife against her mother-in-law.

All of you in organized Christendom, AND YOUR CHURCHES, celebrate Easter; you go along to get along. I do not. Neither do the Jehovah’s Witnesses. I like them for that!

And I wish to make something perfectly clear here; I knew all of this long, long before I met my first Jehovah’s Witness. LONG BEFORE. And I stopped all of the non-sense, as best I could, long before as well.

Eventually, where did all of this take me?

The Roman Catholic Church -- Examined Historically and Biblically

cdelph.org/catholic.html#false

FALSE DOCTRINES WHICH UNITE THE CHURCHES WITH ROME

TIME OUT! Read the above sentance a couple of times and understand what it says!! Unites the churches (of Christendom) with Rome.

2. THE DOCTRINE OF THE TRINITY. Belief in a triune God - a God that is both one and three - is opposed to reason and the clear declaration of Scripture (Mark 12:29; 1 Corinthians 8:6). It was included in church teaching about 300 years after the death of Christ, and from Rome has found its way into the beliefs of nearly all communities of Christendom.

The HOLY SPIRIT is the power of God, a divine energy by which He fills all space and creates and sustains all things: Luke 1:35, Psalm 51:12, 104:30, 139:7-12, Acts 17:27-28. The Holy Spirit is NOT A PERSON, but the "one spirit" of God used for special purposes: miracles, signs and wonders: Acts 2:1-4.

MAN is a mortal creature whose consciousness utterly ceases at death, and, therefore, renewed life can come only through a bodily resurrection. Genesis 3:19, Ezekiel 18:4, Psalm 6:5, Ecclesiastes 3:18-19, 9:5-6, Isaiah 38:18-19, 1 Corinthians 15:13-21, John 5:28-29, Daniel 12:2.

The above is a pretty good site. I have found only a couple of things in it that are not correct, according to my understanding of the Bible, but overall, much superior to anything taught in apostate Christendom.

Everything taught in the Roman Catholic church comes from tradition.

Mark 7:13; (Jesus Christ speaking) and thus you make the word of God invalid by your tradition which you handed down. And many things similar to this you do.

Colossians 2:8; Look out: perhaps there may be someone who will carry you off as his prey through the philosophy and empty deception according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary things of the world and not according to Christ;

Matthew 15:2; (Pharisees and scribes speaking to Jesus Christ) “Why is it your disciples overstep the tradition of the men of former times? 3 In reply he said to them: “Why is it you also overstep the commandment of God because of your tradition?”

Now, what does the Roman church say about the so-called Christian churches of Christendom?

www.the-ten-commandments....olic-tencommandments.html

“It was the Catholic church which…has transferred this rest to Sunday in remembrance of the resurrection of our Lord. Therefore the observance of Sunday by the Protestants is an homage they pay, in spite of themselves, to the authority of the (Catholic) church.” — Monsignor Louis Segur, Plain Talk About the Protestantism of Today, p. 213.

The same is said by the Roman church about the so-called Protestants (apostate Christendom) for their following of any of the dogma and tradition of the Roman church; they are our daughters for the homage they pay to us.

www.catholicfirst.com/the...hurchdocuments/dogmas.cfm

Dogmas of the Catholic Church

Positive Foundation of the Dogma of the Trinity

The Trinity came from the Roman Catholic church. Period. I have posted all of the details about this before. If you are a Trinitarian, essentially, you are a Roman Catholic, and this is the opinion of the Roman Catholic church, not mine.

People here in the 4um have told me that the Trinity is… a mystery. No one understands it, but… we have to believe it. WHY?

There are no mysteries in the Bible. Jesus Christ himself said that he said nothing in secret! ALL WAS REVEALED. The problem is, you have to do the work, the study, and the reading, in order to gain understanding.

I cleansed myself of the Trinity beliefs long before I met my first Witness. Just by reading the Bible on my own, and, trusting the Bible that I was reading; a King James Bible.

THAT, is the big difference between all of you, and all Jehovah’s Witnesses (including myself). They read the Bible EVERY day. And you claim that they are confused? How dare you.

Remember this verse? I have posted it often enough;

John 17:3; This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.

What do you suppose it means? How about this;

John 15:19; If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, on this account the world hates you.

Everything that you all hold so dear comes from the world. Christmas, Easter, all of the holy days set up by the Roman church, the traditions that all of you hold so dear, and you do not understand? Is eternal life that valueless to you?! That you can not do your own study to learn?!

Answer me this; why does the world hate Jehovah’s Witnesses?! But loves the Catholics, Baptists and all apostate Christendom?

Luke 13; 24, 27; Exert yourselves vigorously to get in through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will seek to get in but will not be able, 25 when once the householder has got up and locked the door, and you start to stand outside and to knock at the door, saying, ‘Sir, open to us.’ But in answer he will say to you, ‘I do not know where you are from.’ 26 Then you will start saying, ‘We ate and drank in front of you, and you taught in our broad ways.’ 27 But he will speak and say to you, ‘I do not know where you are from. Get away from me, all you workers of unrighteousness.!’

I left the world long ago. I joined the Jehovah’s Witnesses because they are the only group I have found that closely follow the teachings of the Bible; organized apostate Christendom DOES NOT. Not even remotely, which each of you would understand (and honestly, probably do) if you but did the due diligence necessary to learn.

The choice is yours; study, or accept the second death, which is in the lake of fire.

A NOTE; I COULD CONTINUE THIS FOR A LONG, LONG TIME, JUST LISTING THE THINGS THAT ARE WRONG IN CHRISTENDOM, SUCH AS BLOOD. WHY? EITHER YOU WILL CHOSE TO STUDY, OR, YOU WILL NOT. THAT CHOICE IS YOURS AND YOURS ALONE. Jehovah God DOES NOT require it. But His promises are dependent upon it.

You don't piss me off here, you show what a coward bitch you really are. Now, unless you are man enough to make an appointment for real life face to faces, don't waste my time with your hot air.

">>My objection is the idea that God would reveal the truth in a book.<<

Why would you find that objectionable?"

Because the medium is the message. The contents of a book can be controlled by a small group of men, but God reveals Himself primarily through nature and through us, who He made in His image.

The Bible was written yesterday, but people have worshiped God as long as there have been people.

Actually, even if one man is only slightly less dangerous then the other, making a choice and voting is quite alright to do.

I first broadcast my intention to vote Obama after Robin was bullied about her preference for him as a voting choice and left. I was going to keep my choice much to myself, but I thought that sucked and decided to do the full Monty in everyone's face about it.

I don't care if you and others don't like him, I am making this choice for me with my vote.

I know the popular mindset in here not to vote, but I was never one to worry about fitting in and doing and saying what the chorus does. If I did, I wouldn't be an eleven years DU account holder with still less then a thousand posts.

Have you ever looked into the word heresy and what a charge of heresy would lead to? If you disagreed with the church you were tortured and confessed to various crimes, and then were put to death, usually in very grotesque ways.

Yeah, you are correct. That has nothing to do with the Bible. Period. The Bible is a free will document. Almighty God is not interested in people who do not willingly chose to follow His Laws. The 'church' you are talking about also has nothing to do with the Bible: try the book, Two Babylons. If you need direction, no problem, go here; http://www.biblebelievers.com/babylon/

The comnplete book is free of charge just for the down load, from, of all places!! Bible Believers.

The religious order that led such crusades against "heretics" is the same order that gave you your New Testament, as they are the ones that canonized whatever they wanted to put in there, after various translations, interpretations, and various "editing". Who knows if the original text were truly authentic, it's highly debatable that they even came from the named authors.

Not hardly. I have books on the subject. Esp. over the last 200 hundred years there have been found numerous old texts dating back nearly to 100 C.E., long before the Roman church took control. And even that does not matter to anyone who cares to study the Bible. The information in there DID NOT COME from the Roman church, because it directly contradicts EVERYTHING that the Roman church teaches. Everything.

I've never been told by a priest or a nun that it was a sin to read the Bible, I think you are pretty much making that up as you go.

I suggest that you read this first, to understand the history of the Roman catholic church; http://www.gotquestions.org/Protestant-Reformation.html

Then you could read this on the Inquistions; http://www.gotquestions.org/inquisitions.html

http://www.aloha.net/~mikesch/banned.htm

Bible Possession Once Banned by the Catholic Church!

Pope Innocent III stated in 1199:

... to be reproved are those who translate into French the Gospels, the letters of Paul, the psalter, etc.

ITEM #2 COUNCIL OF TOULOUSE - 1229 A.D.

Canon 14. We prohibit also that the laity should be permitted to have the books of the Old or New Testament;

If you wish more, no problem, I can come up with it. But most of this does not make good sense unless you read the history of the Roman Catholic church, first.

Catholics might not view the Bible as literally true,

That's the understatement of the week.

If you truly think that God looks like a man and in the space of seven days created everything that exist,

Not hardly. Nothing in that statement is Scriptural, or, as they say, from the Bible.

When a man who is honestly mistaken hears the truth, he will either quit being mistaken or cease to be honest.

I've had FReepers hunt me down here during the Klamath Water crisis with the intent to do bodily harm or harass (so they inferred.)

And I think they were shocked I looked for and found them when the word came back through the Whitaker Neighborhood grapevine they were looking for me.

We actually sat as Eugene Saturday Market and I bought them some of Dana's fine coffee and cheesecake. and we parted on good terms.

Remember "Niagara Falls,' the Three Stooge version of "slowly I turned, step by step, inch by inch..." vaudeville routine? What it is about is how big men talk war stories, and how socially appropriate they act in real life with whom they talked trash about.

I lack fear for the most part, I never have been able to exhibit the same level if being intimidated as I see many others getting. It's just how I am.

I went to several schools growing up, and learned how to chose and dominate the right large bully guy in my new school to back those types off. They always prefer an easy target anyway. I went to three high schools, and really got the last guy who I used as a wind dummy really horror show great.

I am 5 foot 6 and weigh 160 pounds, and had quite the baby face as a youth always looking much younger then my years. I learned it was better to be proactive and go after the usual suspects in student society before they brought it to me.

I am pretty reasonable, but if I judge that I need to be audacious, I go there.

J.J. Johnson at Sierra Times - Hangin' up the Spurs - Mr. Johnson has taken another job, so Sierra Times is going to be drastically cut back. I wish him well in his new position and will miss his online rag. This piece had no permanent address, so I copied the whole thing below. [sierra]

After much thought, we regret to inform you that a major reduction or suspension of the Sierra Times will take place as of 12:00 am December 20, 2003 after almost 4 years on the Internet.

Key Reason: J.J. Johnson has accepted a full time position as News Director of a local television station. I have been active in this position for the past two weeks. The position officially starts full time Jan 2, 2004. After lengthy discussion, it has been decided NOT to entirely shut down this web site. Our goal is to strive for complete automation, allowing an administrator to authorize news links, articles, important information, and event notices. Please bear with us while we make the necessary changes until that time.

All accounts payable will be satisfied by January 19, 2004 - 4 years after this publication. All links shall remain active on the Sierra Times. The Sierra Times domain name shall remain active and under the control on J.J. Johnson Enterprises, Inc.

This hurts, but it doesn't. I believe over the long haul, That Ol' News Ranch, Sierra Times did its job. We became a launch pad for dozens of great writers, and great web sites. We broke a lot of news stories. kept a lot of people informed. Media IS changing, and the internet had a lot to do with it. There is too much of a market for mass media to give just one side of the story anymore.

I wish I had time to say thank you to each of you one on one, but I did talk with some of you. I thank everyone for their efforts. And by the way... I never said I was leaving the internet... Cmon - I'm still in the news business. But me and the ranch hands have to move on...

Sincerely, J.J. Johnson

No, Mike, there will be none of that.

You escalated with the first mention of violence and you've taken this unseemly exchange as far as it needs to go.

And, your saber rattling notwithstanding, it's not your way to assault anyone.

And, like it or not your indignation is not justification for violence against another.

The Bible was written yesterday, but people have worshiped God as long as there have been people.

Yeah, the Bible is full of examples, like those who built an iron furnace to Molech and threw their live babies into it to appease their god.

We are also told that the heart is a treacherous organ, and leads us whereever we wish to go, which is usually against the wishes of Almighty God, which is why we are told to study His word, that He will find us acceptable.

This I do know for a fact; the Bible does change your life. It has changed the life of everyone I have ever known who did a true study of it. Take that or leave it as you wish.

When a man who is honestly mistaken hears the truth, he will either quit being mistaken or cease to be honest.

FM,

You might wonder about this, but I have seen you post threats before.

I am not fooled by you in the least.

Your personal stories are very intersting, and I appreciate you sharing them. A lot of us have stories too.

You have an agenda, and that which does not serve all people, but some payback thing. You behave as if you are a tool for the elite. You have the perfect profile for such. You put it out there all the time.

I just am an observer. However, the people you support are cancers to liberty and freedom. That can not be denied.

For that, you will probably continue to find resistance.

You want to keep it up for the sake of a cause, you'll find that your cause will be discarded like trash, when they are finished with you.

There's only one great cause. When it reaches into your heart where the good resides, and you know it, it will reach others too.

That said, carry on. Make this another worthless argument. You won't win it. Winning is for the elite, and they LOVE the help.

"...it's not your way to assault anyone."

You are right, unless they are stalking me. Then I will reach out pro-actively.

Things have gotten more violent here then they used to be and I recently had a group of three try the stock one person ask for a cig then do the sucker punch with the friends doing the flanking move once they though I was in their kill zone.

Unfortunately for them, I am a keen observer of such activity, and never touch drug or alcohol. I am also in extremely good physical shape with some schooling in some things that help even things out where I lack advantage of weight and height.

I know for a fact I broke one of these guys thumbs I had to twist it so hard, and I hurt my hand a wee bit from a couple of fist to bone impacts. And I don't do cop contact unless I have to.

But they were taught I am no easy lay on the street. I don't like violence, but I was a paratrooper nine years and a combat veteran who lived in the combat arms culture and thrived in it.

I also am a much better then average shot and excel at paint ball matches. I really love that sport and have done all night hunts with other as in the forest before doing capture the flag time formats.

I am not violent at all by nature, but I can handle the brinkmanship and stress of it quite well.

I first broadcast my intention to vote Obama after Robin was bullied about her preference for him as a voting choice and left.

Bullied?

She put at least 15 people on bozo, and urged her fellow travelers to do the same. Tell me something, how does a person moderate a forum w/said person has that many people on bozo? Truth be known, leftists can't rationally argue liberalism; witness your laughable attempt to justify the coming Obingo generated genocide in Afghanistan.

When you, she and other 'PILES ship your progeny off to Obama's coming war, perhaps you'll be taken seriously.

The 'church' you are talking about also has nothing to do with the Bible

So you're denying the fact that the Roman Catholic church decided what was going to be in the New Testament and what wasn't? You can rant about what it says all you want, I look at the source, and it isn't God, it's a group of men who plotted world domination, and succeeded.

Not hardly. Nothing in that statement is Scriptural, or, as they say, from the Bible.

So you're saying you don't believe Genesis, where it says God created everything in seven days, and that God created man in his own image?

BTW, the original Hebrew says "we created Man in our likeness".

"The real deal is this: the ‘royalty’ controlling the court, the ones with the power, the ones with the ability to make a difference, with the ability to change our course, the ones who will live in infamy if we pass the tipping points, are the captains of industry, CEOs in fossil fuel companies such as EXXON/Mobil, automobile manufacturers, utilities, all of the leaders who have placed short-term profit above the fate of the planet and the well-being of our children." - James Hansen

heh, not the way I see it. You are just trying to save face now. You want to meet, please stop by. But I never said you were worth my time to travel to confront.

Now, excuse me, but you are and have been nothing but a fuck wad and a pest since returning to the fold here. So if you have more fucking important things then to try to continually fuck with me, then please, get to it.

The war in Iraq is a mid intensity conflict, that in Afghanistan is a low intensity conflict. We helped create the perpetual war there when we funded and trained the forces taking on the Russians, and we were indirectly responsible for the Taliban gaining power.

Now, I can't speak for my adult son, but I would go over there myself and do a tour. Even though I am here to tell you I don't have the patience for some of the B.S. you have to put up with in the military, and if I went back in as an E- 6.

There is not going to be a genocide in that country because of the action we are doing there. Especially if we stick to sending the right sort of troops into that place best trained and equipped to deal with the different sort of missions inherent to Afghanistan then Iraq.

As for the bozo, I don't use it, and I don't have the stomach for whines about someone using it. The kill file function is there to be used, OK?

If a poster uses tools the forum owner and administrator gives them to use, complain to them, not the poster. I am fine and down with the bozo being disabled permanently.

And it is in their court where complaints about the bozo belong, not in the lap of an interlocutor using it.

That's my point, Mike. You are quite possibly stronger, faster and better trained than most potential adversaries, and when you raise the spectre of violence in response to inflammatory verbal provocation, well, you could earn a rep as a bully very quickly that way.

The world is filled with folks who will say hurtful things, and your biracial son is a sensitive issue of the heart with you.

And, because beatin' up on the world isn't a practical solution, you'd be better served by not arming people with the tools to hurt you in that very painful area.

You cannot simultaneously occupy the space of an enlightened liberal and bone crushing thug too.

Pick one and let me know if I'm to respect you in the future or not.

Making people fear and loathe you is a damned poor substitute for respect.

ROTFLMAO

You are delusional. One second you threaten me with violence, then you bitch out, turn 180 and run for the door.

I almost feel sorry for you. You'd be happier on your knees in the limo, smoking crack and servicing your hero the way he likes it.

Lets stay on one issue at a time.

Robin left after she was challenged on the political 180 she took. She wasn't chased off. Again, she was a mod with at least 15 people on bozo and urged other simpaticos to do the same. One fag attorney, w/countless puppet accounts, used the bozo to chase off anyone who dared stray from his leftist dogma. Rather than Robin resigning her position she chose to use the pm system here in an attempt to launch a forum which has become nothing more than a personal blog. So please, for the sake of accuracy, amend your comment about how and why she left.

Thanks for the imput, and you make a good point to call it quits on this venting in here by me for the time being.

Though I will say quite truthfully I am not or ever have been the sort of liberal that goes up and shakes a finger and scolds someone who say for example hit someone for being gay or black. Or is someone who will call the cops on them. I am more of the Eugene, Oregon Anarchist school of though of beating the ever loving crap out of them for their bullying, immediately, and on the spot.

Liberals will often also fret and be silent in the face of hate. I speak up and walk toward it and let it be known that they are wrong. loudly, and with feeling. And it's not as if my reaction is superior to their's, as not everyone views life with the same warrior outlook I can click to with an eye's blink.

I am a compassionate person, but I have fire that burns bright real fast. That always has been the case and is not likely to ever change.

It's just how I am.

Your passion and the belief that you're right and therefore justified is matched pound for pound by the people who cut down Julia's tree.

Now either you embrace the NAP (non aggression principle) or you don't.

One cannot waffle depending on whether the blood pressure is elevated. Violence except in lawful self defense is either always wrong or it's never wrong. You cannot make a case-by-case determination while denying the same privilege to those self righteous asshole cops who thump your pals or those lumberjacks who view Butterfly and you as threats to their families' very existence.

But, if you're going to dig in your heels and refuse to calm down before offering this rationale, well, I can butt out as quickly as I butted in.

The LAST WORD is yours my friend.

I listened to you whine about the bozo then and still have no patience for this personal problem of yours' to this day. If you don't like the bozo, take it up with management.

What others do with their kill file system, and whether they try to talk others into doing the same as them is their business and not any indictment on them. Worry about your own bozo list.

I would also add that who someone goes to bed with gender-wise has no bearing or point to your tale of woe except to show off the spiffy creases you have ironed into your cute little old hair shirt you are wearing. I don't give a shit who is gay or not.

Actually, even if one man is only slightly less dangerous then the other, making a choice and voting is quite alright to do.

The question is which will do the least damage at this point. Oh'Bummer is a big booster of 1984 programs such as "No Child Left Unmedicated" a.k.a. the national psychiatric screening of teenagers for the Pharmaceutical establishment. As well he supports the social worker in every new mother's life.

His funding comes 3 to 1 over McNutz from Wall Street.

His funding comes nearly 5 to 1 over McNutz from the Pharma Cartel.

I do not like either candidate, but when you start talking about which would be the least bad you need to make sure the one you support actually is the the least bad.

I first broadcast my intention to vote Obama after Robin was bullied about her preference for him as a voting choice and left. I was going to keep my choice much to myself, but I thought that sucked and decided to do the full Monty in everyone's face about it.

Your prerogative. However, while I did not take part in the debate with Robin on Oh'Bummer (beyond our ongoing debate on Government Hellthcare) she opened herself up to it by not being able to defend her choice beyond repeating the campaign slogans and supporting him because he supports her "Hobby Horse" i.e., Government Controlled Hellthcare. That she could not stand the heat is evidenced by her exit from the kitchen.

I don't care if you and others don't like him, I am making this choice for me with my vote.

Your prerogative and not one I would ever gainsay you. I just think your choice ill-advised and I have stated my reasoning repeatedly.

I know the popular mindset in here not to vote, but I was never one to worry about fitting in and doing and saying what the chorus does. If I did, I wouldn't be an eleven years DU account holder with still less then a thousand posts.

I think the mindset here is one of utter disgust at both slates - and the recogninition that both slates are controlled by the same interests. Barack Hussein Obama is nothing more, and nothing less, than another telegenic teleprompter reader - like McNutz he is an empty suit and a front for interests manipulating things from behind the curtain. Oh, and I have never had an account at Dumpster Underground for the same reasons that I would not ever have one at Fraud Republic - I do not like PsyOp controlled false opposition which is intended to be divisive and to control the Sheeple by keeping us divided along "wedge" issues.

As much as I see the Bible as a source of wisdom, our ancestors were pagans - (God love 'em!) - and I'm not going to renounce their faith either.
