Why I Left Organized Christendom – and Why I Joined the Jehovah’s Witnesses

Matthew 7:13, 14; “Go in through the narrow gate; because broad and spacious is the road leading off into destruction, and many are the ones going in through it; 14 whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it.

I started reading the Bible more than 20 years ago, alone. Why alone? Because I simply did not know of anyone who actually read the Bible. I was raised a Roman Catholic; they certainly do not read the Bible! Others claim to, but everything that I saw in the organized churches of Christendom were but a reflection of the Roman Catholic church.

So I started reading a Bible that had been given me by a friend. That Bible, which I still use to some extent, was a King James Study Bible, and, when I found the Scripture above, it opened my eyes further and started me on a life long quest; I have no wish to be like everyone else. Never have had.

In the King James;

Matthew 7:13, 14; Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

You will note how the two translations harmonize. Most of the Bibles harmonize; it is just that you must take more care in understanding some because the meanings are harder to decipher. Perhaps this is deliberate; most all translators of the Holy Scriptures into English have been Trinitarians. More on this in just a moment.

Just before I read Matthew 7:13 the first time, I found this in the King James Bible;

Jeremiah 10:2, ; Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. 3 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. 4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. 5 They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. …

I probably do not need to transcribe these verses for you from another Bible; all of them are basically the same. After I read this, I had to go back and read it several more times over a period of time, just to be sure that it said everything that I thought it did. No Christmas tree?! Where did this come from?

Perhaps the better question was… where did Christmas come from? But it took me a couple of years to get to that question. After I reached that point, it did not take me long to find the answers. In any search engine, just type in Nimrod and Christmas.

www.xanga.com/Babylon_The_Great/554683845/item.html

I am not going to go into great detail, because most of you have seen all of this information before! However, unlike myself, you permit yourself to serve yourself instead of putting the wishes of Jehovah FIRST.

"Nimrod started the great organized worldly apostasy from God that has dominated this world until now. Nimrod married his own mother, whose name was Semiramis. After Nimrod's death, his so-called mother-wife, Semiramis, propagated the evil doctrine of the survival of Nimrod as a spirit being. She claimed a full-grown evergreen tree sprang overnight from a dead tree stump, which symbolized the springing forth unto new life of the dead Nimrod. On each anniversary of his birth, she claimed, Nimrod would visit the evergreen tree and leave gifts upon it. December 25th, was the birthday of Nimrod. This is the real origin of the Christmas tree." -The Plain Truth About Christmas by David J. Stewart | December 24th, 2005

"Traditionally, a yule log was burned in the fireplace on Christmas Eve and during the night as the log's embers died, there appeared in the room, as if by magic, a Christmas tree surrounded by gifts. The yule log represented the sun-god Nimrod and the Christmas tree represented himself resurrected as his own son Tammuz." --After Armageddon -Chapter 4 -- Where do we get our ideas? by John A. Sarkett

Now, let me see, what does organized Christendom have to say about Christmas?

kingskidstuff.home.att.net/christmas.htm

“But God gave the greatest gift ever given - himself, that very first Christmas.”

Aimed directly at children; how interesting. Why bother posting more? Just type Christian Christmas into any search engine and read all that you wish to. But all of you know this, yet you insist on doing that which is clearly forbidden. Just as does all apostate Christendom.

Is there more?

Easter. Just type in pagan Easter. Interesting.

First site up; Santeria Wiccans.

Would Jesus Keep Easter? Order Free Book

The short answer to the above is, no.

altreligion.about.com/cs/alchemy/a/mpreviss.htm

In second century Europe, the predominate spring festival was a raucous Saxon fertility celebration in honor of the Saxon Goddess Eastre (Ostara), whose sacred animal was a hare.

The colored eggs associated with the bunny are of another, even more ancient origin. The eggs associated with this and other Vernal festivals have been symbols of rebirth and fertility for so long the precise roots of the tradition are unknown, and may date to the beginning of human civilization. Ancient Romans and Greeks used eggs as symbols of fertility, rebirth, and abundance- eggs were solar symbols, and figured in the festivals of numerous resurrected gods.

Just type in Easter and pagan into any search engine and read all about it.

I stopped this non-sense, fast, once I caught on. This is what real Christians do.

BUT but but!!! My family!!

Matthew 10: 34, 35; Do not think that I came to put peace upon the earth; I came to put, not peace, but a sword. 35 For I came to cause division, with a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a young wife against her mother-in-law.

All of you in organized Christendom, AND YOUR CHURCHES, celebrate Easter; you go along to get along. I do not. Neither do the Jehovah’s Witnesses. I like them for that!

And I wish to make something perfectly clear here; I knew all of this long, long before I met my first Jehovah’s Witness. LONG BEFORE. And I stopped all of the non-sense, as best I could, long before as well.

Eventually, where did all of this take me?

The Roman Catholic Church -- Examined Historically and Biblically

cdelph.org/catholic.html#false

FALSE DOCTRINES WHICH UNITE THE CHURCHES WITH ROME

TIME OUT! Read the above sentance a couple of times and understand what it says!! Unites the churches (of Christendom) with Rome.

2. THE DOCTRINE OF THE TRINITY. Belief in a triune God - a God that is both one and three - is opposed to reason and the clear declaration of Scripture (Mark 12:29; 1 Corinthians 8:6). It was included in church teaching about 300 years after the death of Christ, and from Rome has found its way into the beliefs of nearly all communities of Christendom.

The HOLY SPIRIT is the power of God, a divine energy by which He fills all space and creates and sustains all things: Luke 1:35, Psalm 51:12, 104:30, 139:7-12, Acts 17:27-28. The Holy Spirit is NOT A PERSON, but the "one spirit" of God used for special purposes: miracles, signs and wonders: Acts 2:1-4.

MAN is a mortal creature whose consciousness utterly ceases at death, and, therefore, renewed life can come only through a bodily resurrection. Genesis 3:19, Ezekiel 18:4, Psalm 6:5, Ecclesiastes 3:18-19, 9:5-6, Isaiah 38:18-19, 1 Corinthians 15:13-21, John 5:28-29, Daniel 12:2.

The above is a pretty good site. I have found only a couple of things in it that are not correct, according to my understanding of the Bible, but overall, much superior to anything taught in apostate Christendom.

Everything taught in the Roman Catholic church comes from tradition.

Mark 7:13; (Jesus Christ speaking) and thus you make the word of God invalid by your tradition which you handed down. And many things similar to this you do.

Colossians 2:8; Look out: perhaps there may be someone who will carry you off as his prey through the philosophy and empty deception according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary things of the world and not according to Christ;

Matthew 15:2; (Pharisees and scribes speaking to Jesus Christ) “Why is it your disciples overstep the tradition of the men of former times? 3 In reply he said to them: “Why is it you also overstep the commandment of God because of your tradition?”

Now, what does the Roman church say about the so-called Christian churches of Christendom?

www.the-ten-commandments....olic-tencommandments.html

“It was the Catholic church which…has transferred this rest to Sunday in remembrance of the resurrection of our Lord. Therefore the observance of Sunday by the Protestants is an homage they pay, in spite of themselves, to the authority of the (Catholic) church.” — Monsignor Louis Segur, Plain Talk About the Protestantism of Today, p. 213.

The same is said by the Roman church about the so-called Protestants (apostate Christendom) for their following of any of the dogma and tradition of the Roman church; they are our daughters for the homage they pay to us.

www.catholicfirst.com/the...hurchdocuments/dogmas.cfm

Dogmas of the Catholic Church

Positive Foundation of the Dogma of the Trinity

The Trinity came from the Roman Catholic church. Period. I have posted all of the details about this before. If you are a Trinitarian, essentially, you are a Roman Catholic, and this is the opinion of the Roman Catholic church, not mine.

People here in the 4um have told me that the Trinity is… a mystery. No one understands it, but… we have to believe it. WHY?

There are no mysteries in the Bible. Jesus Christ himself said that he said nothing in secret! ALL WAS REVEALED. The problem is, you have to do the work, the study, and the reading, in order to gain understanding.

I cleansed myself of the Trinity beliefs long before I met my first Witness. Just by reading the Bible on my own, and, trusting the Bible that I was reading; a King James Bible.

THAT, is the big difference between all of you, and all Jehovah’s Witnesses (including myself). They read the Bible EVERY day. And you claim that they are confused? How dare you.

Remember this verse? I have posted it often enough;

John 17:3; This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.

What do you suppose it means? How about this;

John 15:19; If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, on this account the world hates you.

Everything that you all hold so dear comes from the world. Christmas, Easter, all of the holy days set up by the Roman church, the traditions that all of you hold so dear, and you do not understand? Is eternal life that valueless to you?! That you can not do your own study to learn?!

Answer me this; why does the world hate Jehovah’s Witnesses?! But loves the Catholics, Baptists and all apostate Christendom?

Luke 13; 24, 27; Exert yourselves vigorously to get in through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will seek to get in but will not be able, 25 when once the householder has got up and locked the door, and you start to stand outside and to knock at the door, saying, ‘Sir, open to us.’ But in answer he will say to you, ‘I do not know where you are from.’ 26 Then you will start saying, ‘We ate and drank in front of you, and you taught in our broad ways.’ 27 But he will speak and say to you, ‘I do not know where you are from. Get away from me, all you workers of unrighteousness.!’

I left the world long ago. I joined the Jehovah’s Witnesses because they are the only group I have found that closely follow the teachings of the Bible; organized apostate Christendom DOES NOT. Not even remotely, which each of you would understand (and honestly, probably do) if you but did the due diligence necessary to learn.

The choice is yours; study, or accept the second death, which is in the lake of fire.

A NOTE; I COULD CONTINUE THIS FOR A LONG, LONG TIME, JUST LISTING THE THINGS THAT ARE WRONG IN CHRISTENDOM, SUCH AS BLOOD. WHY? EITHER YOU WILL CHOSE TO STUDY, OR, YOU WILL NOT. THAT CHOICE IS YOURS AND YOURS ALONE. Jehovah God DOES NOT require it. But His promises are dependent upon it.

Thanks for the imput, and you make a good point to call it quits on this venting in here by me for the time being.

Though I will say quite truthfully I am not or ever have been the sort of liberal that goes up and shakes a finger and scolds someone who say for example hit someone for being gay or black. Or is someone who will call the cops on them. I am more of the Eugene, Oregon Anarchist school of though of beating the ever loving crap out of them for their bullying, immediately, and on the spot.

Liberals will often also fret and be silent in the face of hate. I speak up and walk toward it and let it be known that they are wrong. loudly, and with feeling. And it's not as if my reaction is superior to their's, as not everyone views life with the same warrior outlook I can click to with an eye's blink.

I am a compassionate person, but I have fire that burns bright real fast. That always has been the case and is not likely to ever change.

It's just how I am.

Your passion and the belief that you're right and therefore justified is matched pound for pound by the people who cut down Julia's tree.

Now either you embrace the NAP (non aggression principle) or you don't.

One cannot waffle depending on whether the blood pressure is elevated. Violence except in lawful self defense is either always wrong or it's never wrong. You cannot make a case-by-case determination while denying the same privilege to those self righteous asshole cops who thump your pals or those lumberjacks who view Butterfly and you as threats to their families' very existence.

But, if you're going to dig in your heels and refuse to calm down before offering this rationale, well, I can butt out as quickly as I butted in.

The LAST WORD is yours my friend.

I listened to you whine about the bozo then and still have no patience for this personal problem of yours' to this day. If you don't like the bozo, take it up with management.

What others do with their kill file system, and whether they try to talk others into doing the same as them is their business and not any indictment on them. Worry about your own bozo list.

I would also add that who someone goes to bed with gender-wise has no bearing or point to your tale of woe except to show off the spiffy creases you have ironed into your cute little old hair shirt you are wearing. I don't give a shit who is gay or not.

I am calm, and have been all evening. Thanks for your imput, and it is appreciated and see you have done some really good reasoning there.

I am going to leave it at that as Cyni has requested a change of tone, and I agree with him on the need to do so.

Thanks for the post.

Actually, even if one man is only slightly less dangerous then the other, making a choice and voting is quite alright to do.

The question is which will do the least damage at this point. Oh'Bummer is a big booster of 1984 programs such as "No Child Left Unmedicated" a.k.a. the national psychiatric screening of teenagers for the Pharmaceutical establishment. As well he supports the social worker in every new mother's life.

His funding comes 3 to 1 over McNutz from Wall Street.

His funding comes nearly 5 to 1 over McNutz from the Pharma Cartel.

I do not like either candidate, but when you start talking about which would be the least bad you need to make sure the one you support actually is the the least bad.

I first broadcast my intention to vote Obama after Robin was bullied about her preference for him as a voting choice and left. I was going to keep my choice much to myself, but I thought that sucked and decided to do the full Monty in everyone's face about it.

Your prerogative. However, while I did not take part in the debate with Robin on Oh'Bummer (beyond our ongoing debate on Government Hellthcare) she opened herself up to it by not being able to defend her choice beyond repeating the campaign slogans and supporting him because he supports her "Hobby Horse" i.e., Government Controlled Hellthcare. That she could not stand the heat is evidenced by her exit from the kitchen.

I don't care if you and others don't like him, I am making this choice for me with my vote.

Your prerogative and not one I would ever gainsay you. I just think your choice ill-advised and I have stated my reasoning repeatedly.

I know the popular mindset in here not to vote, but I was never one to worry about fitting in and doing and saying what the chorus does. If I did, I wouldn't be an eleven years DU account holder with still less then a thousand posts.

I think the mindset here is one of utter disgust at both slates - and the recogninition that both slates are controlled by the same interests. Barack Hussein Obama is nothing more, and nothing less, than another telegenic teleprompter reader - like McNutz he is an empty suit and a front for interests manipulating things from behind the curtain. Oh, and I have never had an account at Dumpster Underground for the same reasons that I would not ever have one at Fraud Republic - I do not like PsyOp controlled false opposition which is intended to be divisive and to control the Sheeple by keeping us divided along "wedge" issues.

Heh, I almost wish I had one, that point of view always sounded like fun. I like being five foot six though. I would not have it any other way, and that is not how that complex works.

Hey, thanks for your POV on Robin again, but I disagreed with you then, and I still do now. She and I chatted off forum for a spell and I was invited to help her start a new forum and I demurred.

I also have been opposed to the bozo since my first day on LP. But as long as a forum administrator/owner has it, criticism for using it belongs in their ballpark, not the interlocutor using it.

Your approach to this election has been disappointingly narrow minded and very hateful. With all due respect, I would worry about your own compassion deficit, not who uses the bozo and why.

It isn't a POV, it's a fact. It's verifiable by others, but I don't expect you to bother looking for the truth. It would conflict with your leftist DNA. So much for the open minded persona you try and foster. I always suspected it was a fraud.

Robin was bullied about her preference for him as a voting choice

As you remarked, 90% of posters here are either voting third party or not voting. Robin and other Obama supporters were no more "bullied" than people who now say they're voting McCain/Palin are "bullied" by third party supporters. Unless by "bullying" you mean disgreement and criticism.

There's plenty of flack on all sides, and sometimes people, myself included, let their tempers get the better of them. But there wasn't any special, concerted effort to drive out robin or anyone else.

You spend most of your time in pissing matches with holy rollers, so it's not surprising you think that only holy rollers post here. I see a pretty good balance between fanatical Christians, moderate Christians, and religious skeptics on this site.

that God created man in his own image?

I have posted a 5 page post, about a week ago, specifically on this subject. It is in the Religion thread, and titled; Make man in our image. It covers the subject quite throughly. To begin with, Almighty God has no body. With that knowledge, perhaps some understanding can begin.

where it says God created everything in seven days

Define day. When I say, 'in my grandfather's day....', is that referring to only one day? Or, is it referring to the entirety of his life? I can show you in the Bible where a week refers to a week as we understand it, and when it refers to a week of years. Without a full knowledge of the Bible, you will always be confused, just as are most of the people who write things about the Bible.

So you're denying the fact that the Roman Catholic church decided what was going to be in the New Testament and what wasn't?

Absolutely I am. Almighty God decided, and anyone who has a good knowledge of the Bible understands that, because man simply does not and never will have the understanding neccessary to write it. It is only people who are to lazy to read the Bible who think like that.

I look at the source, and it isn't God, it's a group of men who plotted world domination, and succeeded.

You have part of this right. I will put up a post today about the history of the Roman Catholic church, and then, perhaps, you will begin to understand. Perhaps not. You do not seem to be able to read and grasp what you are reading.

I also note that you no longer wish to touch the subject of the Roman Catholic church banning the Bible. Why is that, if the Roman Catholic church was responsilbe for the Bible? Curious minds want to know.

Yeah, I know. They were the ones worshipping Molech (burning babies alive), the Sun, Ishtar, fertility (where newly wed wives were forced to serve as whores in the temple for the first year of their marriage), and etc. Wonderful people. I wonder how we get along without them now.

The science, math, philosophy, statecraft, and engineering of the pagan Greeks and Romans contributed more to what makes western civilization great than all of the myths of the Middle East put together.

The legacy of the Greeks is modern technology, medicine, and science. The legacy of the Middle East is John Hagee, Pat Robertson, and AIPAC.

I am more of the Eugene, Oregon Anarchist school of though of beating the ever loving crap out of them for their bullying, immediately, and on the spot.

It's just how I am.

Mike, just a bit of friendly advice. It's better to let someone TRY to assault you and THEN break their bones than walking up to someone because of what you feel they did wrong and being the aggressor, both legally and tactically.

A defender always has the better position in court, and depending on what style of martial art you've studied, the edge in hand to hand combat, such as Aikido.

Besides, there is ALWAYS somebody out there who is faster and tougher, no matter how good you are at what you know.

"The real deal is this: the ‘royalty’ controlling the court, the ones with the power, the ones with the ability to make a difference, with the ability to change our course, the ones who will live in infamy if we pass the tipping points, are the captains of industry, CEOs in fossil fuel companies such as EXXON/Mobil, automobile manufacturers, utilities, all of the leaders who have placed short-term profit above the fate of the planet and the well-being of our children." - James Hansen

"Besides, there is ALWAYS somebody out there who is faster and tougher, no matter how good you are at what you know."

This is very true. The youth who's thumb I broke swung first and I was trying to control him with minimum force by twisting his thumb to get him down.

Ultimately though I had to use some kicks and as you know, bones break easiest when they are twisted with force.

I am not an inherently violent person, and only attack when attacked, or someone is being attacked.

I was and have been agro since being threatened in here by someone in a time I am normally on edge, which is during presidential elections. But I learned in martial arts that those skills are meant for conflict resolution, so you need not worry about me.

I am very smart, skilled and extremely competitive, but I know all too well I am only human and comport myself in a manner usually that acknowledges that fact.

I also note that you no longer wish to touch the subject of the Roman Catholic church banning the Bible. Why is that, if the Roman Catholic church was responsilbe for the Bible? Curious minds want to know

I wasn't aware of it, thanks for informing me of that, but it doesn't really change much. It was still the Roman Catholic church that created the New Testament, and the authenticity of the origin of the letters is still a factor.

Besides, why is it that only his diciples, 12 in number, that wrote anything about him? Who knows if they actually ever existed...

Again, you are looking at the works of men, and elevating the writings of mere men to be that of God. Do you really think that which created the Universe and exists beyond time and space needs to write anything down, and that Being would require worship in the form of animal sacrifices (as per the Old Testament)?

We had a discussion not long ago concerning spirituality versus religion. I still don't think you really understand what spirituality is. I can try to define it, but probably not well enough to convey it correctly. I'd say spirituality is when you have no desire to harm ANY living thing, and can see not only people for what they are, but see the intelligence and emotion in animals, birds, fish, and even insects. Being ONE with life, ALL life, is as close to being ONE with God (the REAL God) as you can get in this mortal life.

You say following the Bible isn't a religion, and I disagree. You are believing that which men wrote, and those men had a desire to control the world with their self appointed power they claimed derived from God himself. ALL religions for the most part say that the OTHER guys have it wrong, but that THEY have it right. Christian denominations do the same, and anyone who believes the Bible is a Christian. Christianity IS a religion, no matter WHAT you call yourself or what group of other Christians you associate with choose for a name.

Thanks for your opinion, but it is still a point of view lacking knowledge of why I don't even bother to post regarding some topic.

I just don't want to go into what I loath about here, because I like some people here and some aspects of this forum.

I do a decent job of tolerating some very disgusting people in here I never would want living in my neighborhood. I try to chose my battles, and I recognize there to be some reciprocity of feeling about people of my political stripe.

Thanks for the post, and your feedback. But you need not worry about me, I see exactly what you speak of and agree with some of it.

I have human DNA. ;-) Actually I have listened to your point of view and because I am only human, it is always possible I don't understand aspects of that situation. But that works both ways.

For one thing, you sure are more touchy and irritable about this then I am. Or you wouldn't of taken the initiative to speak up about it.

Thanks for your feedback on this, and I appreciate it and accept it as given with good intent and I believe it accurately reflects your point of view on this topic.

I mentioned this merely as an aside as to why I decided to be bombastically blunt as to whom I support for POTUS this time around. But I also did so with the thought that this was mostly water under the bridge by now and see no point in belaboring the situation.

But I am not ignoring or merely dismissing your words. I am listening to them, thinking about them and responding to them with my point of view on it.

Now, with all due respect, she is gone, the bozo is still here, so can we move on? Or is there something else about this situation we still need to expound on?

God is spirit (John 4:24)

Man was made in the image of God (Genesis 9:6)

We are all eternal spirit beings wrapped in a fragile, fleshy shell which is doomed to wearing out, failing or being destroyed.

"I am a spirit, I have a soul and I live in a body" ~ Man

"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your counsel nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.”—Samuel Adams

Barack Hussein Obama is nothing more, and nothing less, than another telegenic teleprompter reader - like McNutz he is an empty suit and a front for interests manipulating things from behind the curtain.

Excellent post.

You are correct. Perfect Justice is harsh. Those who violate His Law are given notice, and when they do not repent, all suffer the same punishment. The Flood is a perfect example. Noah said, FLEE! PLEASE! No one listened. All died, including countless children. There is also a stern lesson in there for all of us.

That God is worse than Hitler, and you should listen to crazy guys saying the world is about to end?

Robin is a leftist and not to be trusted, so yes, lets move on. I jumped into the conversation not out of anger, but out of respect for the 4um and the time and effort the owner puts in to keep it open to all. At the very least she deserves an accurate recount of that event. It's funny you mentioned that robin contacted you in PM regarding the launch of her blog. This was done while she was a mod here. Dontcha' think she should have resigned and told the owner her plans? Don't bother answering, I've learned direct answers aren't your strength.

As far as your support for Obama, I could care less. This will be the third consecutive presidential election I'm choosing to sit out. Both candidates are unacceptable, but perhaps it's best Obama wins. His overt socialism, and nasty wife, will become poster boys for my separatist leanings. It's this latter personal trait that makes me appreciate the work of Minister Farrakhan. I respect his honesty and I'm simply his mirror opposite. I ultimately want this nation fractured down the middle, come what may. It seems I'm getting my wish :)

I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs. —Thomas Jefferson, 1802

Yes she was, and as she formed her leftist cell, the attacks became organized. One douche used a series of puppets to attack anything that wasn't representative of the extreme wing of the Democrat party. The left can't be trusted. Ever.

We are all eternal spirit beings wrapped in a fragile, fleshy shell which is doomed to wearing out, failing or being destroyed.

Ummmm. Except that... we are told by God that we are to have a resurrection -- to our bodies -- to live here on earth for eternity. In fact, the resurrection of the Christ Jesus is symbolic of that resurrection. (This is the same thing that Almight God told to Adam about the earth.)

I did a post about a week ago in the Religion thread titled; Make man in our image.

I think you might find it of interest.

When a man who is honestly mistaken hears the truth, he will either quit being mistaken or cease to be honest.

Not really. I have posted info about the authenticity of the New Testament before, and see no reason to do so again. The simple fact is that anyone who does an indepth study of the Bible understands very well where it comes from. The chances of convincing anyone who is not willing to do the studies is pretty near 0, so why bother?

There is one God, one Creator, and one way of life; His. And it is not important how we view that; it is His decision. Just as it is His decision as to if we live or die (second death). Simple as that. I am going to do what ever is neccesary to learn to walk in His Truth. The only way to do that is the study His Word.

I suggested to you before that you should read the other post I put up; Make man in our image. You would learn a bit about Spirt in it.

"Dontcha' think she should have resigned and told the owner her plans? Don't bother answering, I've learned direct answers aren't your strength."

What makes you think I knew she was a mod? That is news to me.

And your foolish attitude at just assigning credibility to righties is foolish, and foolish attitudes make people hard to talk to. Common sense ain't much of a strength for you, and you are governed more by our fears and hatreds then your aspirations, courage and loves.

Now, if you can handle that sincerely felt direct answer, then from now on I'll be more blunt with you.

Heh, I don't care if you care, I merely stated a fact. I mentioned it because it surprised me.

Also, being left of you does not make someone wrong, or bad. I see this posturing all the time from ALS at LP about how liberalism is a mental disorder.

If this becomes a general conservative theme, we will put a foot up your collective butts for it. Count on it.
