Thank you. RD... Indeed. You are welcome. Olde school RD...You respect everyone and ladies are respected twice. We learned it either the easy way, or hard way, but we did learn it. In the past, men that cared would have escorted these people out without having been told. Politics aside, Palin must have been mortified to tears at such.
Even if she's some 'tough' broad, imagine how it would be to have one of the kids ask her or Todd what that meant. For sure, if parents won't tell you, there are others out there in the world who will......and 'age appropriateness' is meaningless in this world we live in when it comes to the dark side.
I'd be more impressed if she were mortified to tears enough to speak out against the horror being done in our name in Iraq and the genocide of the Palestinians being done with our money.

Cynic shows his bias with his hundreds of posts against Obama. I don't recall a specific post against McCain since the Obama people were run off the forum. I think it would have stood out, as does his love of Palin. There are plenty of women to honor and respect. She ain't one of 'em.

Whoever suggested switching veep candidates was on to something...unless there are more Howard Stern listeners out there than the rest of us.
Well, as long as suggestions are being weighed and I so much appreciate your opinion ... I suggest we line all 4 of them up together, blindfold them and take target practice. After that Start over with Chuck Baldwin as the Republican with Pat Buchanan as veep, and Bob Barr as Democrat with Ralph Nader as veep. We could hold our fire ... or not !
Truth be told, I'd vote for you and Howard Stern before The Party offerings. That would be a ticket for real CHANGE.
Let me spell it out. Originally I thought there were those on this forum of like mind...people who recognized that the government of this country was bought sold and paid for and that the "parties" were nothing more than an illusion to placate the sheeple. Beginning with the pro-Ron Paul movement and the support generated from those of which I was among, people here seemed pretty cohesive on the general philosophy. When RP bowed out, cyni was his biggest critic. Ok, it seemed over the top to me but everyone was disappointed and left somewhat rudderless. Then Robin, ari and ghost and others like Red Jones and Burkeman1, BrianS and a few more I don't recall started leaning towards Obama as the someone who's gonna be in charge and their reasoning was it's better Obama than McCain. They were set upon like pariahs. I disagreed with them as well, seeing the two party farce for what it is. The whole "filter" uproar happened and a large group left. In hindsight, the forum lost some good people. Currently however, I find it telling that the people like Old Friend and X-15 and others who are McCain supporters do not receive ANY level of discourse against their position like the hounding Robin received. After Palin became big news, she was and is practically lauded here. Even Lodwick lost his mind for a short time. But there are still those here who say they won't vote McKook, but they're all about Palin. You don't see any inconsistency there? Do you also think Palin is outside the two-party fraud? As far as any of my posts being pro-Obama, they aren't. Other than cyni who accuses me of being an "Obamaphile" and a "financial expert" when he gets called on the carpet for his "baiting" crap, if there are others who think I'm pro-Obama, you should be wary of who's advising you. If you think I'm pro-Obama, speak up and we'll discuss whatever is giving you that mistaken perception. I'm not going to post to this board and let all the pro-Palin/McCain propaganda slide without posting other points of view. However, if you're leaning the way of Palin/McCain and you take exception to the articles I post, let me know. I won't waste my time and energy being part of a forum whose mission is secretly other than what's stated. The forum is only as good as the people who post here. If my views aren't wanted here, please, you let me know straight up. Otherwise I'll continue to post articles and my viewpoint.

Nobody has called for you to walk the plank. I certainly haven't attacked anybody for their proposed votes (Ferret Mike) for Obama, though I think he'll suffer buyer's remorse sometime into next year if it is Obama. Ron Paul left everybody in a messy lurch and didn't handle his exit with much aplomb, somebody got to him and told him to knock it off. As much as I despise McStain (see my sig), I cannot abide an Obama presidency because I foresee a very real possibility of another civil war at worst, or several acts of insurrection/terrorism at the least with his sorry socialist ass in the White House. This election and the future direction of our country is bigger than any of us mere mortals posting here.
i don't think you're pro-obama. in fact i set those who misunderstood you straight just as i'm doing with you with Cyni. me leaning toward palin/mcCain? i have made it quite clear my disdain for both branches of the establishment party. i've never wavered from that. i have been an advocate of Rock the no vote for years. Ron Paul was the only one for whom i would have re-registered to cast a vote even though i am convinced that our entire system is a fraud and that we-the-people don't elect anyone. frankly, i've been just as surprised as you over posters here who have decided to go the choice of lesser of two evils.

Gads......have you ever tried debating with a rock? Old Friend is a decent guy--he just gets confused a bit, difficult to get a concept across to him. As for X-15, he needs to ?????? What can I say......its X-15, after all. Robin and the others were decent folks--and when they found they couldn't defend their positions, it seems they took off to form their own forum where they could be in the majority, or their ideals to be in the majority. But I never saw a reason to ride her butt or any of the others--so they had different opinions on SOME things--they weren't the devil incarnate. Heaven help us, if we all have to march in lock step--someone will pair you and I up and we'll be trying to step on each others toes all the way thru the parade!!!!

Yes, one of the memes propagated was Obie being brought up by a single mom in Kansas on welfare and whatnot. I questioned what sort of welfare existed in Kansas in 1965 considering WIC was started under Nixon much later. Staying in Indonesia was ignored, as was the subsequent attendance of Obie at a PREP school in Hawaii, presumably on his grandparents tab. That, along with school in Jakarta is hardly indicative of the deprived childhood story successfully propagated by the Obamawallahs. Another myth exploded. Didn't sit well with the Obamawallahs. And speaking of chasing, OKCSubmariner was chased away from this site by some idiot yahoo who didn't like reading material that did not jive with their worldview. Original reason I showed up here was to read OKC after he got banned from LP, having been banned from FR. Many people enjoy only the reinforcement of their view, and contrary opinions threaten them too much. Personally, I read everything from all POV's and that is the shame of what has happened, as people splinter into their own little echo chambers.
i don't think i would characterize it as OKC being chased away. i think he became uncomfortable with the challenges (by many here) to his opinion that arabs were responsible for 911.

I would disagree, he was lambasted with abuse and name calling. No one questioned the actual information in his articles. That was ignored. The challenges were personal and abusive. I know the dominant feeling here is that it was a NeoZion plot. Don't matter now anyway.

Exactly. The Obamasoids cannot stand being confronted by any of the data which exposes the multiple inconsistencies in Oh'bummer's positions, "bio", etc., .... So, rather than confront and deal with the facts they run and hide in a cocoon assuming a foetal mind controlled position. No one should ever have justification to accuse me of being a McNutz supporter and so in their insulated, and unreal, world view they cannot deal with the contradiction to their mantra "you oppose the Obamessiah so therefore you're nothing but a filthy Republican McCain supporter". When confronted with a refutation of that shallow and unsupported view their ability to even look and discuss is shattered. They just "can't handle the truth".
