Democrat Barack Obama and Republican John McCain recently unveiled new proposals to their economic plans. Here's a look at the presidential candidates' additions to their economic proposals: ___ BARACK OBAMA _Suspend the tax on unemployment benefits _Extend unemployment benefits _A 90-day moratorium on home foreclosures at some banks _A $3,000 tax credit for each additional full-time job a business creates; the tax break would end after 2010 _Allow people to withdraw up to 15 percent of their retirement funds, to a maximum of $10,000, without any penalty this year and next _Price tag: $60 billion over two years ___ JOHN McCAIN _Eliminate taxes on unemployment benefits _Order the Treasury Department to guarantee 100 percent of all savings for six months _Lower the tax rate on retirement funds to the lowest rate, 10 percent, on the first $50,000 withdrawn _Cut the tax rate on capital gains in half, down to 7.5 percent for two years _Price tag: $52.5 billion over two years
