Friday, October 17, 2008 A few thinking Americans are asking: Are the candidates for president and vice-president offered to us by the Republican and Democrat parties the best that America has to offer? Indeed, are they the best qualified? Questions and doubts arise about Sarah Palin's knowledge and understanding of foreign policy, or John McCain's support for abortion, or Joe Biden's health, or Barack Obama's association with members of the terroristic, anti-government Weather Underground. Dubious qualifications among the candidates are "butted" and re-butted. The candidates flop and flip-flop as they counter or squirm under the charges of their opponents. Quotes and gaffes are re-named as "mis-quotes," or as repeated out of context, or explained in confusing and circuitous "politician-ese" or denied altogether. Of course, most of us recognize these shameful goings on as the normal circus-like course of events attending any race for the two top offices in the land. However, there is one qualification for the office of president which everyone seems to be ignoring. It may be the most fundamental and essential qualification. It is one of only four qualifiers demanded by the Supreme Law of the land, the U.S. Constitution, for anyone seeking the office of President of the United States. It is a qualification which, if not met, would make a candidate instantly, positively and permanently ineligible for the office of President. That qualification is that the President must be a natural-born citizen (Article II, Sec. 1, Para.5). Attorney Philip Berg has filed a lawsuit in a Federal District Court in Pennsylvania charging that Mr. Barack Obama is not a natural-born citizen of the United States. He alleges that Mr. Obama was born in the African nation of Kenya to a black Kenyan father and a caucasian American mother. He further alleges that Mr. Obama, as a child, moved with his mother to the country of Indonesia where she married an Indonesian man who adopted little Barack. Berg alleges that Barack Obama later (as a child) accepted citizenship in the country of Indonesia. Mr. Obama, in a low-profile answer to the charges of his non-citizenship, declares that he was born in Hawaii, a state of the United States. He, or his representatives, produced a birth certificate claiming to show that he was born in Hawaii. However, the authenticity of the birth certificate has been challenged and reputed to be the birth certificate of his sister, and not his. Additionally, the hospital in Hawaii in which Mr. Obama claims to have been born was not built at the time of his birth. The major news media has been very scrupulous in avoiding any publicity of the "natural-born citizen" controversy surrounding Mr. Obama. In fact, they have very successfully consigned the entire brouhaha to the dust bin wherein reside the presidential candidacies of the likes of Rep. Ron Paul, Mr. Alan Keyes and Mr. Chuck Baldwin. I do not know the truth about the Obama citizenship question. Neither do you. Perhaps Mr. Obama does not know the truth either, since he was very young at the time of his birth. But, someone knows where the truth lies. Do you believe that we, the voters, are entitled to know the truth regarding Mr. Obama's citizenship before the elections in November? Does it not seem strange to you that, while the candidates are quick to take offense and to blather forth with instant retaliation, excuses or explanations regarding such inane and moronic comments about pigs wearing lipstick, religious affiliations or the use of the Internet, they all ignore and avoid a charge which is substantive in law, and a very real binding criteria for the office of President of the United States? Would it not be to Mr. Obama's and the nation's best interest for him, or whoever knows the truth, to clear the air once-and-for-all for everyone to see and hear, in the major media regarding the issue of his birth? What if Mr. Obama is elected president and later is proved to be not a citizen of the United States? Would you demand or support a demand for his impeachment? Would you urge your Representative to inaugurate impeachment proceedings in the House of Representatives, as per the Constitution? Now, before election day, is the best time to determine the truth about Mr. Obama's qualifications to be President of the United States. Think about it. Less Goss Alton, Mo. Editors note: As of Oct. 4, Obama and the DNC had filed a joint motion to dismiss the lawsuit but no action on this motion was found as of Oct. 14. The ruling on Obama's motion to dismiss and Berg's demand he produce his birth certificate is to be made on Tuesday 10-21-2008. If the ruling is for or against Obama, the decision will be appealed to the Court of Appeals and the case will hit the mainstream media. The media will spin it and say that FACTCHECK has a copy of his birth certificate. Berg, a Hillary supporter, has said that FACTCHECK is owned by the Annenberg Foundation which gave Obama tens of millions of dollars to radicalize public schools in Chicago and that the birth certificate they examined is a forgery. There will be riots in the streets if he is disqualified. It might be possible to get an expedited ruling on the appeals from the Supreme Court. If Obama cannot produce a birth certificate, it would be an excellent time to release the "Get Whitey" tape and even copies of his Kenyan birth certificate or his Indonesian passport records. If Obama does not produce a birth certificate, I, as a white person, would not want to live or work near a black neighborhood. For what it is worth I do not think John McCain will live long if he does become president.
Do you think that people at the end of their life want to do right to make up for the wrong that they did in the past?
McCain's problem is that he has no guiding compass. To him politics is about his ego. He has less of an ego than does Obama. I am more worried about Obama trying to do the right thing and passing Amnesty for Illegal Aliens or trying to do the right thing to save Israel from Iran. I just want him to fade from the scene.

And I want amnesty for Hispanic immigrants passed.
